There was a post about a week ago in a certain Facebook group about a dog that needed to be rehomed who also displayed very aggressive behaviours towards people. That dog was Odin, and here he is now after just a few days worth of training. Since being in my care, Odin has not once showed any signs of aggression, and has turned into one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Sadly, if I had not picked him up, this friendly guy under all that aggression was already planned to be put down. Now that his agressive behaviours have been fixed, I am looking to find his new forever home.
Funny but embarrassing story, Odin was for sure not super easy to handle when I first picked him up. After getting him in my car, I opened a window for him to focus on something, since he was so stressed and wanted to kill me. I didn’t open the window enough for him to fit through, but Odin was so determined to escape, he managed to get his paws up on the edge of the window, literally push it down, and jumped through. I dangerously chased him on a busy neighbourhood street before a woman came out to help and grabbed him.
Despite that terrible moment, Odin has completely warmed up to me, my family, and my other dogs. As I’ve said before, he’s never acted aggressively again, even during Halloween when we were constantly getting knocks on our door. Odin will soon be ready to find his new family once he’s had more obedience training. If you or anyone you know is interested in buying a new dog, get them to contact me.
Or if you have an aggressive dog yourself and you’re interested in solving their aggression, I can definitely help you and your dog.
