Meet Marvin! This handsome 6-year-old (born June 2019) Brabant QH cross is ready to find his next partner. Standing at 16 hands, he has a lovely temperament and is looking for a confident rider to continue his education.
🎯 Performance Potential:
Marvin is showing great potential for multiple disciplines!
• Barrel Prospect: Demonstrates great turns and agility.
• Jumper Prospect: Very scoopy over fences!
• General: WTC, happy to go over small cross rails.
✅ Health & Maintenance:
• Current on: Shots and deworming.
• Dental: Teeth floated this past March.
• Soundness: Barefoot, no special maintenance required.
• Feeding: Easy keeper—just needs good hay!
🏡 Temperament & Barn Life:
• Living: Happy living in or out.
• Handling: Easy to catch and handle by a confident handler as he needs someone to correct his greenness.
• Herd: Good with geldings and mares. Middle of the pecking order.
• Fencing: Respects electric fencing.
🐎 Riding & Training:
• Trail Riding: Can hack out alone or in a group! He can get nervous on the trails and may dance around a bit—he needs a calm, confident rider to reassure him.
• Temperament: No buck or bolt or rear
• Suitability: Still green at times. Perfect for an experienced adult or a confident teen who is ready to put time into a talented, versatile young horse.
Currently in a home with multiple children and happy on a light program. But would recommend a consistent program to work out some of his remaining greenness.
