What a night. ❤️

Last night the Delaney Acres Great MS Puzzle Competition brought together over 30 teams of puzzle lovers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, all in one room for a shared purpose, raising funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.

Thanks to this incredible community, together we raised $4,100 for MS.

Watching the room fill with laughter, friendly competition, intense puzzle focus, and so many people cheering each other on was honestly amazing.

A huge thank you to every team who registered, every volunteer who jumped in to help, our generous sponsors, and everyone who donated, bought snacks, or simply came out to support the event. It truly takes a village to pull something like this together.

And… because a few people have already asked… I may have one small and slightly more elegant puzzle gathering in mind for early June. More on that soon.

One of my favourite parts of hosting the MS Puzzle Competition each year is seeing how puzzles bring people together.

This year we’re adding something special:

A Puzzle Exchange Table.

If you have gently loved puzzles at home that deserve a second (or third!) life, I would love to include them.

You can:
• Drop them off ahead of time
• Bring them to the event
• Or send me a message and I can arrange pick up

Bring one, take one, or simply donate and let someone else discover a new favourite.

We especially love quality puzzles (Cobble Hill, Ravensburger, Eurographics, etc.), but any complete puzzle in great condition is welcome.

Let’s keep beautiful puzzles circulating in our community — all while supporting MS.

Message me if you’d like to contribute 🧩✨

🧁 Calling All Bakers! 🧁

I’m hosting the 2nd annual Delaney Acres Great MS Puzzle Race on March 13th and we’re putting together a canteen full of amazing baked goods to support MS Canada.

I’d be so grateful for a donation! Cookies, squares, muffins, gluten-free treats, or anything you enjoy making are all welcome.

We’re expecting a great crowd of over 100 people, so it’s a wonderful chance to share your baking while supporting an important cause. 💙

If you’d like to donate (big or small!), please DM me and I’ll send along the details. Thank you for helping make this event extra special!

🚴‍♀️ 150km over 2 Days - Done! 🚴‍♀️
This weekend I took on the MS Bike Tour: 75km each day through Windsor, Gaspereau, and Wolfville. With the support of many of you our team of five riders raised over $30000.00 to go toward MS research.
This was a ride that reminded me loud and clear that my body is way stronger than my brain sometimes thinks it is.

Day 1 was full of hills that challenged me both physically and mentally, but every sweet downhill felt like a gift, and the views at the top were absolutely breathtaking and worth every climb. My team, The Cycleholics, cheered and sang each other along the whole way, making the ride as fun as it was tough.

Day 2 had a slightly different course, but I still wasn’t sure how far I could go. On the night of day 1, I messaged of .endurance , worried about tackling another day. She reminded me: “It’s all a process. Enjoy it for what it is, and learn what you can from the experience.”

I started with that mindset on day 2 and to my surprise, I went the whole way. There were moments when the air was still, the scenery was beautiful, and I remembered how much I truly enjoy riding. And then… crossing the finish line to see my child, my husband, and my dog waiting for me made it all worth it.

As someone who lives in a full-bodied frame, I’ve often taken myself out of things I thought I couldn’t do. This weekend was proof that I can. And I did. 💪❤️

Another event, another ride!

In the lead-up to these events, there are always moments where the doubt creeps in.
What am I doing here? Do I even belong?

The imposter syndrome is loud. It whispers that I don’t look the part, that I’m not fit enough, fast enough, strong enough.

That maybe everyone else will see it too.

And yet… I show up anyway.
And I sign up again. And again.

Maybe I do it to prove to the world that I am enough.
Maybe it’s to remind myself that me, in this body, right now, is already worthy.
Or maybe it’s to quietly push back on the idea that there’s even such a thing as fit enough or strong enough.

Because maybe just showing up, exactly as you are, is enough.

So today I ride. Not because I have something to prove, but because today I’m choosing to believe I don’t. .endurance

Busting out the .endurance gear today- even though I almost didn’t.
I put off my swim alllll morning. You know those days where motivation is at a full zero? That was me. But then I heard voice in my head: “Something is better than nothing.”
So I got up. I suited up. And I took it one meter at a time.
Sometimes the hardest part of the whole workout is literally getting the wetsuit on.
This is the reminder that small efforts still count big. 💙💪
