Oakley's Happy Ending💞

Oakley went missing on the morning of July 28 along the St. Mary's Trail. There were multiple sightings of him on July 29 and then nothing until the morning of August 8. On the morning of August 10th, shortly after 8am, Oakley came racing onto the family's back deck. He was as happy as could be, and just super excited to be home with his family. He did not have a single scratch, or tick on him. He has lost 13 pounds but otherwise he is in great health! Sometimes in cases where dogs have been missing this long they can take awhile to fully recognize their owners again. But based on the fact that he was jumping all over his family and showering them in kisses, that definitely isn't an issue in this case.💕 (Just look at that tail go!)

Thank you so much to EVERYONE that helped out in Oakley's return! Every amount helped whether you were out hiking on the trails, bushwhacking in the mountains, putting up posters, sharing on your social media pages, or keeping him in your prayers. We are so grateful for this wonderful community of people and love how everyone came together without a second thought! UPDATE: OAKLEY IS NOW HOME❤️
He is safe and sound, and happy as can be!

Sighting 7:30pm August 7: Approx 2km heading NORTH from start of Lynn Loop trail. (Just past old wagon) Oakley was seen on other side (WEST) of creek walking. He was checking things out then went back into woods. He is very dirty so white portion of him is not as white as photos. To Help: please consider walking at dawn or dusk along the creek, stopping to observe the west side. PLEASE for your safety do not cross the creek!
For any sightings please call or text 604-341-2987 or 604-771-4294. If out of service when spotting him please consider taking a photo or video/dropping a pin or copying coordinates and sending it in as soon as you’re back in range. 🙏🏻
