🐾❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY! ❤️🐾

Today is all about celebrating our feline friends! From the purr machines and cuddle bugs to the mischievous troublemakers and those with a little cattitude, every cat deserves to be loved, cherished, and protected. 🐈

Whether they're spoiled house cats, shy strays, barn cats, or community cats, they all deserve a chance at a happy, healthy life. ❤️

Today, give your kitties an extra treat, a little extra love, and maybe forgive them for knocking something off the counter! 😂

And let's not forget the cats still waiting for their forever homes. Every cat matters. Every life matters. 🐾

Happy National Cat Day from all of us! ❤️🐈

Happy humpday everyone!!
You bought him a cute little stuffed teddy. 🧸 He loves it.

A little TOO much.

Now it’s the middle of the afternoon, the neighbours are out on their patio, and he’s giving that poor teddy a very public “hug.” Over and over. While making eye contact.

The real scoop: Hu***ng isn’t always about romance. It can be excitement, stress, or just plain play.

Bonus fact: Spaying and neutering often cuts way down on the hu***ng. Just saying. 😉

Has your pet ever embarrassed you in front of the neighbours? 👇

We love you, buddy… but you’re lucky you’re cute. 💛

Happy Tuesday everyone
The crime: Waiting until company comes over, then sitting in the middle of the living room for a full, enthusiastic bath of the… private areas. 👀

His defence: “Hygiene is self-care. You should try it.”

The real scoop: Some licking is normal grooming, but constant licking can mean irritation, allergies, or something worth a vet check.

Bonus fact: Neutered pets are often a lot less “interested” in that area overall. Just saying. 😉

Got a pet with a disgusting habit? Send us their mugshot and we might feature them! 📸

We love you, but… you’re lucky you’re cute. 💛

Hi friends! October is black cat month and lots of shelters even call it Black Cat Awareness Month because black cats have the hardest time getting adopted so October is their time to shine! They are playful loving and just as deserving of a safe home as every other cat!
This month let’s help spread the word, challenge the stereotypes and remind people that black cats make the perfect pets😻😻😻😻😻🐱🐱🐱🐱😻😻

Spay and neuter saves lives — and here’s how:
Health benefits for pets:
• Reduces cancer risk: Spaying females eliminates risk of uterine/ovarian cancer and greatly reduces mammary tumors, especially if done before first heat. Neutering males prevents testicular cancer and lowers prostate issues.
• Prevents infections: Spaying stops life-threatening uterine infections called pyometra, which are common in older unspayed females.
• Longer lifespan: Studies show spayed/neutered dogs and cats live 1-3 years longer on average due to fewer health risks.
Behavior benefits:
• Less roaming: Neutered males are less likely to run away to find mates, which cuts risk of getting hit by cars or lost.
• Reduces aggression & marking: Neutering can decrease territorial spraying, mounting, and some types of aggression in males.
• No heat cycles: Spayed females won’t go into heat, so no yowling, bloody discharge, or attracting males to your yard.
Community benefits:
• Controls overpopulation: One unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 cats in 7 years!
• Fewer strays: Less stray animals means fewer animal bites, car accidents, and spread of diseases like rabies or feline leukemia.
• Saves tax dollars: Capturing, housing, and euthanizing unwanted animals costs taxpayers millions annually.
Cost benefit:
• Cheaper than a litter: Spay/neuter surgery is a one-time cost. Raising puppies/kittens, emergency C-sections, or treating cancers/infections is way more expensive.
