Yesterday's vet visit was tough, so waited for today to update you all.
Dr Dave found a lump the size of 1/2 a golf ball in Billy's re**um - not his prostate. Surface was smooth so may or may not be a tumour... He will be in touch with the UltraSound folks to see if they will even be able to see anything with the position of this lump. It may have to be a transrectal ultrasound.
Little Bill's bloodwork came back this morning, though - EVERYthing was perfectly normal! (As were all his vitals at his appointment yesterday) This is good news, as it means he likely does NOT have cancer. But it does leave us with more questions as to what is wrong with my poor little guy.
He's now on opiate-based painkillers, which seem to be helping, and wet food, which he is finally eating (thank goodness - he's already lost over 12% of his body weight!)
