💛 DAY ONE… WOW. JUST WOW. 💛

We are sitting here tonight completely humbled.
Blown away.
A little emotional, honestly.

THANK YOU to every single bidder who showed up on Day One of our Race to Rescue 16K Auction.
Your excitement, your comments, your early bids… you lit this thing UP. 🔥🐾

And here’s the wild part —
👉 There are still SO MANY incredible items left to feature.
Some of these pieces don’t even photograph as beautifully as they look in real life.
Some of these donations came from hearts so big it’s hard to put into words.
Every item has a story, and every bid genuinely helps save lives.

We say this often, but tonight it feels extra true:

We aren’t like the big rescues.

We’re a small, family-and-youth-run rescue.
(And yes — we have officially adopted Melissa Kehler . 😆💛)
We don’t want to be big.
We want to be special.

We want to do things:
