Baby Girl is looking for a home! 🏠

Baby was brought into the clinic to be put to sleep, the reason? She was losing fur.

It was very quickly noted her fur loss was due to fleas and the pretty girl had developed FAD (flea allergy dermatitis), an easy issue to fix with flea prevention. Unfortunately her previous home had already set their mind on not bringing her back home with them.

After some flea treatment and some time to decompress and grow her fur back Baby Girl is looking for her new family!

She is a 7 year old domestic medium hair with the most beautiful eyes! She’s unbothered by all the friends that come through both cats and dogs.

Please reach out to the clinic if you are interested in giving this sweetheart her forever home! yh

Have you ever wondered about what happens in a cat rescue or do you have plans to enter the world of Veterinary Science? Either way, Animal Aide is pleased to, once again, have the opportunity to offer a summer internship made possible by the Canada Summer Jobs program. This is an 8 week, 35 hours per week, paid position which will begin June 30 and continue until August 23. You must be available for the entire 8 week term and be between 15 to 30 years old. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, efficiently, be dependable and able to roll with the "punches".. They must have transport to begin work at 8am. usually Mon. to Fri. The job consists of cleaning cages, washing dishes, doing laundry and everything that goes into making the shelter presentable to potential adopters. Training will be provided. This is not a glamourous summer job but, you will learn more about rescue and life in general than you ever thought possible. Good luck to all and we look forward to working with the successful candidate. Resumes will be accepted until June 14, 2025 and may be sent to [email protected] or dropped off at the shelter, 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas.
