Some holdbacks from last season that are growing up well.

I was thinking of letting some go but after how bad this season was, thought it’d be best to hold onto them.

I do have some availability still left if anyone is looking for a new hognose :)

Well, it sure has been a while! It feels weird making a post! aha

This year has been a let down to say the least. Out of the 6-7 pairings I had, only 1-2 somewhat worked out. That being said, some of them were first-time breeders so my expectations weren’t that high to begin with.

Although this was my first season striking out, I’m sure it won’t be my last!

Don’t think I can recommend them enough, especially in Canada where weather can change on a dime. I am looking forward to this season, hopefully producing some awesome animals who make their rounds internationally!

Pairing #3: Coral x Lavender Het Albino

This pairing may raise eyebrows to some, given the controversial(?) nature of a Lav x Lav pairing.

After reading posts, it became apparent that information regarding this subject is ambiguous. For every person who has had experience A, one has had experience B. Feel free to comment yours below!

The female was produced and imported from Italy, and male from Canada. I’m hopeful that the separation in bloodlines is enough to justify an attempt at my first Lavender pairing🤞🏼 I’ll showcase pairing #4 Het x Het Coral soon!
