🌿🐾 TICK SEASON IS HERE!🐾🌿

As the weather gets warmer, ticks are becoming more active — and that means it’s important to protect both our pets and ourselves! ☀️
Ticks can carry diseases such as Lyme disease, which can affect dogs and humans alike.
After walks, hikes, or even time spent in the backyard, be sure to!

✔️Feel around ears, neck, paws, armpits, and under collars
✔️ Check your pets thoroughly and routinely for ticks
✔️ Keep your pets on veterinarian-approved tick prevention
✔️ Remove ticks carefully with tweezers or a tick remover

Even indoor pets can occasionally be exposed, so prevention is key! 🩺
If you find a tick on your pet and notice symptoms like lethargy, limping, loss of appetite, or fever afterward, contact your veterinarian.
Stay safe out there and enjoy the sunshine responsibly! 🌼🐶🐱

SAVE THIS IT CAN SAVE A LIFE

If your cat suddenly stops breathing, act fast. Clear the airway, give rescue breaths, and perform chest compressions in a steady rhythm. Every second matters in keeping oxygen flowing to the brain and heart.

It's that time of year again. So here's the reminder:

🌸 Spring arrives today and Easter is around the corner. If you love 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, remember they're 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐎𝐗𝐈𝐂 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬. 🐱

Our advice: keep them out of your home altogether! 🚫🌺

We are officially into the summer season and it's started off strong with horribly high temperatures, our fur babies are at risk of heat stroke. Remember to have lots of water accessible to them, and when you go for walks always check the pavement so they don't end up with burnt paws🐾☀️🕶️

On hot days like today, it’s important to know when it’s too hot for your pet to be outside.☀️🐾

Here are a few tips to keep your furry friends safe:

🌡️ Limit outdoor time, especially during peak heat hours when the sun is blazing.

💧 Bring plenty of water and take breaks in shady spots if you're out for a walk.

👣 Check the ground temperature before walking your dog. Place your hand on the pavement - if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

❌ NEVER leave a pet alone in a vehicle, even in the shade. Pets left in cars, or other unventilated areas, or tied up in the sun, are susceptible to heat stroke. Since dogs have only a limited ability to sweat, even a short time in a hot environment can be life-threatening. Temperatures inside a parked car can rapidly reach dangerous levels even on relatively mild days, and even if the windows are slightly open. A dog's normal body temperature is 39°C and a temperature of 41°C can be withstood only for a very short time before irreparable brain damage or death can occur.

Let’s keep our pets cool, comfortable, and safe this summer!
