Good morning everyone! I just wanted to show everyone how resilient Ticks are! I’ve had these 4 ticks in a ziploc baggie since May long weekend, sealed shut so no air. I picked them off a dog from the Maidstone area. It’s so very important to SMASH AND POP any ticks if you find them. I can’t express enough that you want to hear the pop or see the guts come out to ensure they are indeed dead. Here is what I noticed two days ago, The two larger ticks laid eggs😳!!!!!!!!! So many little tiny eggs.
I’ve since put in a mason jar so I can ensure they don’t escape.
