These are the first and last pictures of my Caz at 10weeks old and 15yrs. I was her only owner, I was her world and she was my best friend. She went to sleep peacefully yesterday in my arms. She was 15yrs 10 days old. Having hit "our" goal of 15 yrs old. She had some fatty tumors, blind and deaf with tracheal collapse and she wasnt doing the happy dog things she used to. She had very low quality of life and I didnt want to see my dog in a decrepit state. I had to let her go.

She was a very obedient dog. She was the cutest, very loving and sweet. There wasnt one person who didnt like her. I was her only owner, Im privileged to have had her for the full 15 yrs of her life. When she could see, we were inseparable, she never left my side. When camping in the bush, Id never have to look for her or worry cause she was always right there following me. She was a good swimmer and liked to play with the fish in the livewell, and barked at deadheads. She hated winter and disappeared in deep snow. And she was great when I would smush her between the driver and I on snow machines and quads and go for a rides, lots of fun. For a small breed dog she was so good for bush camping and outdoor fun.

Thank you to the staff at Memory Gardens. As always, your sensitivity, reliability and compassion is truly appreciated.

Letting go of my baby girl was so difficult and im going to miss her so so much.

Thank you for all the joy, love and laughter you brought us.
Our time together was cut way too short. Only 3 short years, but they will never be forgotten.

You came into my life 11 years ago, so randomly but so needed.
The paper work says I rescued you, but it was you who rescued me at my lowest.

Through all life’s changes, you were my ride or die, never fazed at the next stage of our life.
You weren’t a dog, I’ll never believe you were, you felt what I felt and knew what I needed at all times, only wavering from my side when you fell in love with Tucker a little more than me (from the minute I was pregnant).

At 5:30am, you left me but at least you were in my arms when you did and now I’m sure you’re somewhere getting scolded by Mercedes because she’s watched you cheat on her with a younger girl for the last year, and getting doggy eye rolls from Koda and Shed because they know with you around, there’s no more calm and relaxing.

Thanks Kash. You did your job and you did it really f*cking well. ❤️❤️
