After a few storms and power outages thought we lost the last two eggs before leaving the hobby. One egg didn't make it long but the other one actually pulled through and hatched this morning!!! 😆 After about 4 months in the incubator it still hatched one of the smallest we've seen, but still the coolest looking little guy and so happy it pulled through!!!)))

These two are still available! Been a lot of interest but no one's come through yet. These two have produced some amazing babies together and wanted to sell as pair but can sell separately.

Definitely makes it harder to sell collection when it takes awhile, always thinking about trying to keep a couple more lol

Also, there has been a few people saying they're picking up but then don't answer for a week. Can hold or offer a payment plan, but can't put adds on hold without deposit anymore even if it's just for a couple days, just prolonging things for us trying to be nice.

This little one was shipped at 3pm yesterday to make it to Quebec by 10:30 am, and yet we still don't have an update 😔 UPS has been terrible, no updated scan since just after 7 am with a new shipping time or anything 🤬

If everything is ok and they get it out first thing tomorrow, has anyone shipped gargoyles for two days? How have they been?

Feel bad for the person who purchased it waiting, and just to top it off they had two reptile shipments from UPS fail today!

Really hope these little guys make it!!!!!!!

Also if this is how UPS treats it's packages I'd be a little scared of that option now with shipping companies!

Was a busy day fighting in court to keep our place, and now waiting for a decision. Then as soon as we were finished someone picked up toast:) Such a unique gecko especially when looking at the parents.

Another one left us last week and another one shipping out tomorrow, but happy to see them mostly go to people we follow on instagram and know will care for them amazingly :)

Final update: Hello everyone, it’s been a crazy few months on top of a crazy few years and after a lot of thought we’ve decided to step away from the hobby.

This wasn’t an easy decision at all! We love our geckos and this hobby so much but medically and financially seems impossible.

In the beginning of December they told me (Shawn) i had leukemia or HIV, then last month blood levels returned back to normal but started to have seizures with a strange sickness they still don’t know. Also have other worsening injuries and issues like weakening artery repair from a reconstructive surgery, and other rare conditions that get worse when they feel like it. So with all this going on Tanya has been pretty busy with life and the hobby on her own.

Used to work so much out west and this started as a hobby to keep me busy, especially growing up owning reptiles thought it would be cool, but then it turned into so much more then that,,, a family hobby we all loved so much.  

Even while writing this just want to delete it and move along, but wouldn’t be the right thing to do for these animals or my family with the current debt, health issues, and living situation.

We will be keeping our one female Taco. Do not want to sell her for breeding after injury last year and shouldn’t be hard to move or have someone gecko sit if something happens.

Have a few babies and juveniles available. Also have a red stripe proven male from U.K northern gecko.

The ones in the picture are the two we purchased from Northern Gecko.  Last summer was the first year of them breeding, only paired twice and produced some amazing babies. If you are interested and willing to make a reasonable offer please contact. Well try get more ads up soon.

Hey everyone, we wanted to share what’s been going on behind the scenes. Last year was incredibly tough, and we had to shut down our website and downsize our collection due to a lot of personal challenges. Medical issues have been piling up, with seizures being the latest, which has also resulted in a suspended license. On top of that, Tanya has taken on most of the chores while we face eviction from our townhouse by a corporation known for renovictions across Ontario.

Our female, Taco, had an injury last spring and hasn’t been paired since. She’s doing much better now, but we don’t want to rush things after her recovery. We’ve downsized to two breeding pairs, aren’t keeping grow-outs for now, and are trying to switch to PVC enclosures when we have the money, since some tanks won’t survive another move and will need to stack in a smaller area once we’ve relocated.

It’s been a stressful time, but the hobby has been a much-needed distraction—and we’re not ready to give it up. Thank you for your support—it truly means the world to us. ❤️
