New Friends and Old!

Welcome to the Breed!

We have recieved a ton of inquiries in the past 24 hrs due to the lovely dog making the most hilarious breed announcement at the olympics!

What can I say, his enthusiasm to run, his athleticism and his joy for people are great parts of the breed.

Before sending an inquiry for our fall 2026 litter plan (Yes we have one planned!) please ask yourself a few things!

Do I have the patience to house train a dog that takes 6-8 months to house train?

Do I have 6 foot fencing and the willingness to install electric lines at the top and bottom or no dig and no climb guards?

Do I have time to attend weekly classes, socialize the dog daily and structure our home life for the first TWO years? These pups are not like shepherds or huskies or most other breeds. They are primitive-like and very much a “what you put in is what you get out”

Do you have an understanding of dog training, using minimally corrective means? These guys hold a grudge, they find corrections when ill timed a personal reflection of how stupid humans are 😆

Do you have lots of precious furniture, lots of glass or breakable items? They are bulls in a china shop at the best of times.

Do you enjoy running or cycling or hiking or cross country skiing 😆? Something that gives them an outlet.

Are you prepared to represent the breed for the next 15-17 years? They are incredibly long lived for a breed so large.

Are you prepared for a dog that will bond so hard to you and your family that rehoming is very very difficult. That they will look for you in every shopping trip they go on, every dog show they travel to after you send them back?

What would you do when they decide they are no longer tolerant of the other dog in your house?

CSV are the most intensely loyal, loving, clever, hilarious and chellenging dogs. They are athletic and so rewarding to work with and live with. They can also make your life very hard. They are a lifestyle not just a cool looking golden retriever. They require strict crate training, some for a few years some for life. They will have accidents, some forever. But they also will love you like no other dog ever could.

So yes the olympic dog is amazing and lovely. And we welcome all inquiries with open arms. Just make sure you have done some research first!

I am considering breeding one of the girls (Vimma or Astrid) this fall. This would be the last litter for either of them.

I wont do so without 3 deposits on this litter, I am happy to keep one puppy until 6 months to go to the states.

I raise all the puppies using puppyculture and ens. This time around I would like to incorporate some of the avi dog system as well. Vimmas litter responded really well to litter training using the little wolves panels and so I will do that agaib with any future litters.

Puppies are exposed to many dogs, cats, people, kids and sounds. The grow up in the small bedroom attached to our kitchen. They are microchipped, registered UkC and on request AKC. They will have first shots 3 dewormings and f***l testings before they leave. We have weaned on raw with great success.

Parents are health tested to a T. I would be using either Quinto II Od Uhoste or Vyk z Katusickeho dvora as the stud. Both have excellent hips, clear/normal elbows. Both are very large bodied males, with striking eyes.

Im happy to chat with prospective families, and again, this breeding will only happen with paid 3 deposits, refundable with no puppies born.

Available Young Adult Male Czechoslovakian Vlciak - “Red” ❤️

Oh Red boy, where are your people? Red has bounced around a few homes, and Ive stayed right along with him for the ride. Finally deciding to bring him home and get a feel for what he needs myself.

The good:

Red is huge - 31”, 82lbs, very long, big boi

Crate trained - settles well in an XL ruffland in my house, sleeps all night (11pm to 8am), is super clean in his crate. Crates well in the car. Is a big rude coming out of the crate but its happy rude. Has some fomo, will bark when he hears other dogs coming out of their crates. Will crate quietly in another room (no doors closed between) while other dogs are loose in the house playing and being rowdy.

So handler focused its crazy - he loves who ever is on the end of his leash, will work for anyone holding food- any food, even a small rock. Will work for it lol.

Has solid basic obedience - sit stay is super, heels on leash, recall, generally off leash safe once he knows you or knows you have a treat.

Confidence out the w***o. He will go anywhere, and work, focus, participate lol. He was on set with a huge crew all the equipment etc and was so happy to be there.

Has been to bite club a few times - has great possesion, really confident and enjoys the sport.

Has done - some canicross, obedience work, and if hes here all summer Ill show him in confo.

Intact - would be happy discussing a sport/show/breeding home.

He is very dog neutral on leash, walked around oakville and ignored tiny poodles yelling at him, doodles and other pet dogs without manners and was fine.

Loves people, will say hi to anybody

Eats anything - currently fed a mix of raw, smack and dehydrated raw.

Will sleep loose in your house politely

Loves water and swims

Has toy and food drive

The bad? If you wanna call it that lol

He is not always appropriate offleasg/loose with other dogs. This is not aggression usually its just rude pushy forward play. He does not tolerate all intact males, that being said he and his brother seem fine together but at my house I do not expect intact males to hangout loose together. Its just not an expectation I have and do not put them in the situation to lose.

Jumps up - we are working on this lol.

Not cat safe, will play with a cat telling him to go away, I would not leave him loose with a cat unattended

Not gentle with kids at this time - could be with some manners work, but is nippy/mouthy, huge and pushy.

My thoughts on an ideal home : a sport home, someone who wants a flashy dog to do all the things with. He wants to learn and do stuff. Someone who hikes or loves adventure. A home with shepherd experience, and is okay crating and rotating, as he 100% may not be appropriate with other dogs. Someone who doesnt mind a teenager brain and will think he is as funny as he thinks he is. Someone who will stand by him and see him through his issues as they come up as dogs go through.

He will come with :

His herme sprenger prong
A flat collar and leash
I can provide a crate at additional cost - we only use rufflands so they’re $$
Food for a few weeks
Ukc reg - Akc is available for the right people
Lifetime support as best I can
A contract that requires he be returned to me

He is in Kawartha lakes ontario, happy to ship him anywhere really. Just know he comes back if it doesnt work.

My “Pick” female is looking for a home 💕

Pink - Skollvlks Teine “Tiny”

Breathtakingly feminine, clever, and brave, Tiny is a pocket rocket with moderate drive who would do well placed with an active family or weekend dog sports warrior.

I am hoping for a puppy back/ co own/ breeding in the future home.

She is the nicest built puppy, with the more moderate end drive in the litter and will have beautiful light eyes, and a lovely coat.

She has been raised with puppy culture, litter trained and has never met a stranger lol. She loves dogs of all sizes, and has been exposed to cats.

Both her parents - Vimma and Fen - have been top dog for 2023 and 2022 respectively, and Fens son is #1 in breed for 2024. They are health tested to a T and OFAs are available to share, are here in their photo albums or can be publicly searched on the OFA database.

Puppy comes with first shots, microchip, uoc and akc registration as well as food and a collar to go home.

Happy to help someone interested in showing and starting their own breeding program.

Not interested in crossing them to any other breed sorry.

Litter B - 3 Weeks old

Theyre starting to run, the bark growl and howl, and of course the real poops have started. Im so proud of how this little crew is growing, and most of all how Yellow is starting to really become a little puppy after 3 weeks of tube feeding and being nursed along.

The litter that humbled me lol. Breeding is not for the faint.

Another weekend another dog show! Thank you to K9Fanciers in Centreville Michigan for the lovely Saturday. We would have come friday but the Suburban had other plans lol. Our photos are very tired as the 9 hour drive yesterday plus the early morning seems to have caught up with us.

Albie showed like an old pro and took 2x BOB Novice Puppy and then pleasantly surprised me witb 2 x BIS Puppy. Proud of our little bred by baby.

That makes him:

Vimma needed 10 points for her CH so naturally she would blow Kargo out of the park and take 2x BOB to not only finish her UKC CH but earn her 2 breed points.

Kargo and Amren were accidental ringers today 😂 Amren showed like a velociraptor on a string and Kargo is going through a very wonky stage lol.

Hes growing like a w**d still

69 cm at the shoulder, 88lbs and a rack of bones (He is eating an amazing amount of food every day).

Im excited to see how he matured this year, maybe his head will catch up to his body.

Im super happy with his brain, and his confidence in public. He is sweet and goofy and very polite out and about.

Golden retriever friends

Im looking for 2 golden retriever puppies, need to be 8-9 weeks old for Monday APRIL 15th.

The jobr requires them to run around and play, and then eat the kibble brands puppy kibble from a bowl. Ideally we use the puppies normal food and fill the bowl 3/4 of the way and top with the brands food.

Job is paid, per puppy. Shoots in Toronto area.

7 weeks

What. The. Heck.

Where did the time go. I start tearing up thinking about them leaving. It feels like yesterday I was sleeping on the floor checking them 3 x a night.

They all have remarkably distinct personalities, and its been an absolute honor getting to help those blossom.

Light blue - The fearless overachiever, nothing stops him, and he is so people focused. He is the pick of the litter. Built nicely, and will be flashy in the ring. At 6.5 weeks he had mastered the puppy push up and “mark”. My tiny genius.

Purple - the sweetest little evil child. She is sugar and spice. She is her mother 100% but quiet, not a vocal dog. She is THICC and keeps up with her brothers no problem.

Green - our tiny little sweet boy, softer temperment and more “think before we do”. He is going to a home with two twin boys who will have double the trouble to keep this puppy busy.

Yellow- the cuddler, this boy is going to a therapy program and rightfully so. He is sweet and happy and very gentle.

Black - the weapon. He is biddable when needed but the rest of the time is captain of the “lets ness s**t up” committee

Red - this is a very sweet, slightly naughty boy. A bit more independent but he is glued to me like crazy. His new owner is an outdoors extremist and red will have the great outdoors at his finger tips

Orange - small but mighty, very correctly built, the eye catcher of the group. Everyone looks at orange. And orange knows it. He is going to a breed experienced home who will have no troubles checking that ego lol.

Navy Blue - he is fens dopple ganger, I have no doubt he is going to be very handsome as an adult. He is bold and brave and has a solid jerk streak in him. He is going to a wolf experienced and dog experience family out on the west coast. They will have no trouble reinging in this big man.

Brown - the lover. This guy is truly just “happy to be here”. Happy, silly, lovely. I hope wherever he ends up they have a sense of humour because this dude is all jokes.
