We are always so very proud and amazed at the resilience of neglected or traumatized pets that come into our care.
We are especially proud of these three little cuties!, Nancy in curly white with tan, Sid in curly red and Ramone in curly brown. These three dogs had never known a kind hand, they arrived from a mill/auction type setting where they were treated more like livestock than beloved pets.
From being totally shut down, extremely fearful and dealing with demons, to the cutest lovely little companions we just knew they could be. So many thanks and prideful bragging of our foster homes who took in these dogs and just though normal exposure to regular house life, all of course with so much love and patience, we’ve watched these three blossom.
Nancy finds great comfort in other pets, she glued herself to foster brother Miles and used him as her brave, see her bio pix for an intro to sweet Miles. Now, instead of running anxiety driven circles, she will seek out a couch for a cuddle, and a low face for some light kisses, she’s so so cute.
Ramone adores the foster homes who has take him in, an older quiet home couple with a playful big dog named Sadie, who has helped comfort his progress in getting used to all things home.
Sid, while being the most outgoing of the trio, instead of using his crate for comfort, has now found toy boxes and other dog friends to keep his confidence and spirits up.
We are now taking applications for these cuties, more info is available on their bios if you click on the attachments. They will also be at Saturday’s adoption event, this will be a huge step for them and while we will be monitoring their stress and comfort levels, we hope they will deal with the experience with excitement and eagerness as we’ve seen them do with each step of progress thus far.
