It’s lock-up-the-pets day!
Before they chase after candy bags or run from the scary goblins roaring down the street, bring them in and secure them so they can nap while you’re checking out the costumes

Theodore originally came to me with a wound on his neck. After he got through all of that, he went on to the Humane Society to be adopted. But FIP got its grips on this big boy and now he’s back for treatment 😿
The good thing? He’s been tested for a bunch of different things we can now say he for sure doesn’t have, like feline leukemia! And because treatment options for this have gone from non-existent to extremely successful in just the last few years, his prognosis is stellar!
So when he’s up for looking for his forever family again, he’ll still be bribe-able with treats , a little heavier and healthy as the mini horse he is 🧡

This is Mocha. She looks a little stunned, doesn’t she? The world is new ALL THE TIME for her because she has epilepsy (and I think a little brain damage). She’s on meds two times a day and she’s in permanent foster care with me because, for real, who wants a black, needs to be groomed, seizure-ridden cat who won’t let you cuddle her because you give her those pills? Besides, the shelter stressed her out and stress is not good for this little girl.

What I’m saying is, I volunteer for the partially because they are a no-kill rescue, but that also means some of the felines (and the dogs, too) end up being in care for longer times due to whatever-the-hell happens out there to them.

Your help is greatly appreciated because we wouldn’t be able to do this without support!

These two were found separately, in different parts of the city, under different circumstances and they’re not the same age, but I couldn’t help it - I named them Lilo and Stitch

You weren’t trying to leave, were you? 🤔
The two freeloading layabouts are Oak and Hickory and, yes, they’re brothers, and yes, they need to know what you’re on about all the time - except when it’s nap time, then all bets are off.
They will be napping somewhere you will trip over them.

Yes, Tigger is a girl. But her head is still made out of rubber and her tail out of springs but she’s also sugar sweet 🥰

This is Juniper. She is an absolute sweetheart and when she gets really happy, she wags her tail in her impression of a dog. She WILL follow you into the bathroom and will want to sit on your lap so you don’t doomscroll. Honestly, it’s a public service.
