When Unfinished Business Annapolis Valley took on a large deck replacement project on a historic property, they knew the original charm had to be preserved. That’s where Krazy Dog Woodworking came in.

We were brought in to handcraft custom corbels to replicate the original 100+ year-old pieces that had rotted away. Every detail was carefully matched to maintain the heritage look and feel—honouring the craftsmanship of the past while using today’s tools and techniques.

Happy hump day friends! We’re half way through a scorching week with no end in site with this drought.

Our team is making great progress on this porch restoration. While Steve is rebuilding a number of components for this project; Kevin and I are on site building.

Since we have 3 Krazy Dogs in the house, today I decided to something not wood related and try my hand at baking. The puppies think I need to do more of this.

Of the many projects I completed this year for Christmas this sign was the most meaningful and i was honored to be able to do it. This was to honor the memory of a friends father who unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

The sign itself is about 3.5 feet long, carved from solid red oak with black painted accents.
