Sweet Roxy at just 11lbs may be considered a senior, but we prefer to say she is 10+ years young! This lovely Poodle X is looking for a loving forever home where she can enjoy all the comfort, companionship and affection she deserves. 🏡❤️

🐾✨ There is always one in every litter who seems to wait just a little longer for their forever home… ✨🐾

But this time, it isn’t one of the puppies. 💔

All SIX of Goldie’s babies are now strong, independent, and settling into homes of their own. 🐶🏡❤️ And the one who has been left behind is their mama.

🌼 Beautiful Mama Goldie 🌼

Goldie spent so much of her time with us doing one thing — protecting and caring for her babies. 🐾💕 She has been their mama, their protector, and their safe place.

No, Goldie isn’t a “perfect” dog. She is still learning every day. ❤️ She can take some time to trust new people, and she needs a family who understands that her whole world is changing.

For so long, her job was to be on guard for six little lives that depended on her. 🥺🐾

Now, for the first time, Goldie gets to learn what it means to just be someone’s dog. ❤️🏡

Her babies don’t need her anymore.

🐾 They are strong.
🏡 They are home.
❤️ They are loved.
✨ They have families.

Now Mama needs hers. 💔

🐾🍼💕 SURPRISE… POLLY HAS PUPPIES! 💕🍼🐾

Polly came to Annie’s Little Paws Rescue a few months ago as a very scared little Terrier X. 🐶💗 She was placed with one of our experienced fosters, where she could decompress, learn that she was safe, and begin coming out of her shell. 🏡❤️

When Polly arrived, she was in heat, so her spay had to be postponed. When we brought her back to the vet later, we were told she still appeared to be in heat.

Little did any of us know… Polly was actually pregnant! 😳🐾

Polly went to her new home, with her spay planned once she was medically ready. Then last night, her owner got the surprise of a lifetime when Polly gave birth to FOUR puppies! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🍼

Sadly, one little baby was stillborn. 💔🌈 We are very thankful that Polly’s three surviving puppies are alive and doing well. 🙏❤️🐾

Right now, Annie’s Little Paws Rescue is stepping in to help Polly’s owner make sure Mama and her babies have the safest and healthiest start possible. 🐾🍼💕 Polly and her three puppies will temporarily be staying with one of our experienced fosters, where they can receive some extra support, monitoring and care while the puppies are still so tiny and vulnerable. 🏡❤️

Thank you to Murrayville Animal Hospital for getting us in quickly to have Polly and the puppies looked at!

Once the puppies are strong enough, Polly AND her puppies will be going back to her owner. 🥰🏡❤️ Her owner has a wonderful circle of friends who are already interested in giving the puppies loving homes. This means Polly and her babies will have the opportunity to remain part of each other’s lives and grow up together. 🐶💕🐶💕🐶💕🐶

For now, their only job is to rest, nurse, grow and get stronger while we help give this unexpected little family the best possible start. 🍼💤🐾💗

The puppies are not available for adoption through Annie’s Little Paws Rescue. ❤️
