We are considering taking 2 siblings from Ukraine looking for an emergency placement. There is one 16 yo girl and one 14 yo boy. At a minimum, they need a safe place to finish the school year. We have a house with a room for them but we cannot take on the cost of 2 teenagers at the moment. Rather than turning them away, we are hoping to get some help and do this together! We estimate the cost of each kid to be roughly $800/month for food, clothing and basic necessities. If you are in a position to sponsor one of these kiddos please shoot me a DM. This is time sensitive and we’ll making a decision in the next day or so. Thanks for your consideration ☺️

A great weekend in Kamloops for the BC Honey Producers conference. It was our first time all together in 2 years and an absolute hoot. Many laughs, drinks and the odd spirited debate on how to approach our livestock shortage 😉 We are all reminded how valuable face time is 🙌
