Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) The Langley Animal Protection Society is committed to saving lives and serving communities, providing care to thousands of animals in need each year.

LAPS was established in 2003 by a dedicated group of volunteers. These volunteers were eager to see a positive change in the way stray, lost and unwanted animals were sheltered and cared for in Langley. In order to uphold these founding member's values, we continue to focus on providing excellent service to our community and overcoming the challenges facing animals in Langley. Based at the Patti D

ale Animal Shelter in Aldergrove, our staff and volunteers use a progressive and humane approach to care for thousands of dogs, cats and farm animals each year. All animals that are cared for by LAPS benefit from environmental enrichment, frequent exercise, nutritious food and top quality medical care. Our staff and volunteers ensure that each animal has the best chance at a happy and healthy life.

Chloe is still here 💕
And while we absolutely adore her sweet personality, we would love nothing more than to see her settled into a loving forever home for her senior years 🏡

Chloe came to us after her owner made the difficult decision to move into long-term care. It was a heartbreaking choice, but now Chloe is ready for her next chapter.

Our lovely girl is diabetic, but no needles needed. She takes a liquid medication easily each morning as part of her routine 🐾

Chloe would thrive in a quiet home with someone who appreciates her unique little quirks, like her love of playing with water in her bowl 💧

What an incredible day at our 4th Annual Paws on the Green Golf Tournament! ⛳🐾

Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, we not only enjoyed a fantastic day on the course, we exceeded our fundraising goal and raised critical funds to help animals throughout the Greater Langley area 💚
