Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) The Langley Animal Protection Society is committed to saving lives and serving communities, providing care to thousands of animals in need each year.

LAPS was established in 2003 by a dedicated group of volunteers. These volunteers were eager to see a positive change in the way stray, lost and unwanted animals were sheltered and cared for in Langley. In order to uphold these founding member's values, we continue to focus on providing excellent service to our community and overcoming the challenges facing animals in Langley. Based at the Patti D

ale Animal Shelter in Aldergrove, our staff and volunteers use a progressive and humane approach to care for thousands of dogs, cats and farm animals each year. All animals that are cared for by LAPS benefit from environmental enrichment, frequent exercise, nutritious food and top quality medical care. Our staff and volunteers ensure that each animal has the best chance at a happy and healthy life.

🚨🚨Important LAPS Update🚨🚨

We recently discovered that some forms submitted through our website were not being delivered to the LAPS team. We are working hard to resolve the issue and get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.

If you submitted a form through the LAPS website—including a surrender request, New Beginnings application, or Major’s Legacy Fund request—and have not received a response from us, please email [email protected] so we can follow up with you.

Our team is also manually reviewing submissions that may have been missed, so response times may be a little longer than usual.

🐾 Meet Lulu & Endako — a bonded pair looking for their perfect landing place! 🐾

Lulu and Endako are two incredible little dogs with huge hearts, hoping to find a loving forever home together. 💕

Lulu is a sweet Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix, while Endako is an adorable Chihuahua/Yorkshire Terrier mix — and his name means “river”! 🌊 Together, these two make the perfect pair.

They absolutely adore their people and are happiest curled up close by, soaking up affection, enjoying cuddles, and sharing all of life’s little moments. 🥰🐶🐶

Before they can head home, Lulu and Endako need some medical care to help them feel their very best. ❤️‍🩹

In the meantime, we would love to find the special family who can give them a safe, cozy, loving place to land once they’re ready. Having a forever home waiting for them would be the happiest ending imaginable. 🏡✨

She was brought to LAPS on August 23, 2026, after being found in an alley near 32 Avenue and 200 Street.

• Help with dog licensing
