Ozzy's Crew Pet Services Ozzy's Crew aims to provide affordable and personalized pet care Ozzy's Crew Pet Services was started in September of 2014.

We absolutely adore all of our fur friends and love meeting more. Ozzy's Crew's main focus is to give one-on-one time with your pet, whether it's for a 30 minute walk during the work day, or an extended stay while you are out of town for a weekend! We pride ourselves in making your pets our #1 focus throughout our day. Current rates are as follows:
Dog Walks
20 minute visit - $15
30 minute visit -

$20
Additional dogs - $5
Each visit will be spent one-on-one with your dog(s), unless requested otherwise. The whole visit can be a walk, or it can be a combination of walk, play time, feeding, and general snuggles. Each visit ends with a bowl of fresh water, a treat, and a text or note to update you on how your dog is doing! Dog Sitting - $50/night
Additional dogs fee - $20 each dog/ night
At this time, Ozzy's Crew is only accepting dogs for boarding in our home - we are not able to stay in your home. Your dogs will be super comfy with us, as if they're on vacation too! You will receive at least a once daily update! Cat visits:
In zone
25 minute visit - $15

Out of Zone:
30 minute visit - $20-$25

A cat visit includes cleaning the litter daily, feeding, providing fresh water, and anything else that fits within their time frame. If your cats like to play, Ozzy's Crew would be happy to do that during our visit! You will receive a daily update via text or written note. Hi 🫣

It is finally time we can share what exactly happened with our move!

First - happiest of holidays and my goodness I cannot stress how much we miss you all so badly. After 11 years of having a house and heart full of dogs for the holiday season, it feels especially empty this year.

But never fear, Ozzy, Stubbs, and Noodle have definitely kept up on the love haha.

So, the big move? Canada!
We have settled in to Kitchener, ON as of September and finally have enough stuff behind us to discuss it.

As you all know, Zac is trans and nonbinary. And the US was clearly no longer safe for us. We hired a lawyer, discussed the best options, she filed all our paperwork, and now we are just awaiting the next steps. But for now, we are safe and here in Canada.

Ozzy is still going! The cancer seems to be just staying put and we are monitoring him regularly for quality of life. He has plenty of it still hehe.
He has been having some pain issues with the cold, but we expected that with his dumb legs. That's much more manageable than the cancer being more aggressive so I'll take it.
Stubbs and Noodle are LOVING Ozzy's retirement.
We were able to secure them a large, private deck that they get to watch everything from. It has been so fun to see them enjoy themselves so much.

Y'all know helped Ozzy through his cancer diagnosis - and Oz is doing really well lately!! He still has the thyroid cancer/tumors, but they have remained exactly in the same place.
They certainly aren't bothering him - Ozzy has been a big fan of using his voice lately 🤣

is running a little fundraising contest! They're creating a coloring book of pets they've helped, and of COURSE I entered Ozzy.

Aaand post #2 I knew would come one day but didn't want it to (spoiler alert Ozzy is doing VERY WELL so if you don't keep reading at least you know it isn't that 🤣)

Ozzy, Stubbs, Noodle, Zac, and I will be moving out of state at the end of June - effectively ending our run as Ozzy's Crew Pet Services in Chicago.

We will give you all more details as we can, but wanted to at least get this out there for planning purposes.

This decision was not made lightly, and there have been so many tears shed.

We are forever and ever and ever grateful for all of your support over the years. 10.5 years of being able to do this has been the biggest treat of my life.

Without all of you, absolutely nothing in my life these last ten years would have been possible.
We love all of you, and hope you know we will ALWAYS welcome photos of your pets at any time 💜

Oh hey y'all, time for an Ozzy update and a very important ask.

With Ozzy's most recent appointment, we learned that his already rare thyroid cancer comes with bilateral tumors - making it even more rare than it already was.
Because of the location of the tumors, we will need to remove the thyroid and parathyroid, and he will need to be kept for a few days to monitor and figure out proper supplements and levels.

This, expectedly, comes with a much more H E F T Y price tag than either of us were expecting or prepared for - over $7k just for this part of it.

Hey y'all.

A couple weeks ago, we found out Ozzy has thyroid cancer.
It has absolutely rocked my world in the most horrible ways possible - I'm sure it's no secret that he is my everything.

I started Ozzy's Crew just a few months after adopting him so I could spend more time with Ozzy. I can't stress just what he means to me. If you've had the pleasure of meeting him, I'm sure you also know just how special he is.

Since then, we have had a few appointments to learn more - currently, we don't see any signs of metastasis. His pain is being managed with medication + our usual CBD drops. He has gone from feeling horrible to being mostly his usual, goofy self.
His prognosis is anywhere from 6 months to 3+ years, depending on what form of treatment we are eligible for.

Our initial quote from MedVet was $12-$13k, on top of the $2500 we have already spent (and, quite honestly, didn't actually have to spend).
We have been VERY fortunate to connect with and they are helping us out as well (I cannot stress how grateful I am for them, please support them if you're able)

To be real honest, though, we need as much financial help as we can possibly get. I am planning to post a GoFundMe, but I'm trying to figure out just what amount of help we need before sharing that.
Business has been down both here and with for months now. We are surviving, but barely.
I will need to take time off for Ozzy's appointments, and will also need to cover gas and travel costs associated with them (the vet is approx 1.5 hours. away from us).

Two very lovely friends have put together a sweet bake sale they'll be hosting at this Saturday, March 8th! Please stop by and pick up some delicious treats if you're able to 💜

I'll be with both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm at the International Women's Day Market at with as well - come stop by and say hello!

Finnie wanted to remind y'all that the holiday season is FAST APPROACHING!!

We do have a few spaces left for dog boarding in our house for both Thanksgiving and Christmas - but we do tend to book up so let's get those scheduled asap! If you'll need a meet and greet, we will need to get the those done by early November 💜
Please note we do NOT schedule extra dog walks, and we are also not able to accommodate in house sittings during these weeks.

Cat visits are surprisingly wide open still for both holidays - and reminder our kitty visits start at only $15/visit (this goes up depending on distance from Rogers Park). We do not charge extra for litter box cleaning or multiple cats, either 😸

Can't wait to spend our holidays with all your babies as usual 💜

I am shocked that 10 years has just rushed by.
10 years of getting to see your pets, and making that my full time job. The BEST job I could have ever asked for.
And it's only because of you that I am able to say and do this.

I'm forever grateful and look forward to celebrating the next 10 years with all of you 💜

Big Boss Ozzy will be there to say hello and give kisses.
You are absolutely welcome to bring your dog friendly pups - but we are off duty for this event, haha.

Jarvis Square Tavern is cash only, but they do have an ATM if you need it.
If you need to use it, bring up your receipt to the bar and they'll give you a shot of Irish Whiskey or Malort on the house.

Zac and I will be providing some snacks for both humans and pets, and we will have a couple extra little surprises throughout the afternoon.
