Warm weather means water adventures!

Here at K-9 Getaway, we are blessed to be on the mountain with a beautiful hidden gem just a few minutes down the road. I am looking forward to a summer full of days like this !

I am here to remind you of a few summer safety tips!!
👉 don't let your pup drink to much salt water and equally make sure they get enough to drink and stay hydrated !
👉 make sure their paws don't get burnt by walking on hot pavement for long periods
👉 make sure you have your flea and tick preventatives! Them buggers are bad this year
👉 be careful not to over work your pup in the heat, heatstroke happens fast and under the radar !

And most importantly, get out and enjoy the beautiful weather with your 4 legged companions
Life is to short to say no to that beach trip

2 pup yards complete 😍
Starting the 3rd one this weekend and I'm so excited. This 3rd yard will be entirely secluded for our beloved reactive pups that need their own space to be able to enjoy themselves. I cant wait for you all to benefit from this with your fur babies ❤️

Our dogs are individual, free thinking beings.

We need to respect this rather than focussing on "control" and "obedience".

By working with dogs to increase their confidence in making the right choices and recognising their individual preferences and personalities we can live in true harmony together.
