IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT from Groomingdales at the Gardiners Town in Kingston.

We are moving the salon in our Gardiners Town Centre location to our new location on Midland Avenue which will open in early February.

Sydnee will be returning from her leave and is excited to meet her returning and new clients when we open the new store!

While the new store and grooming salon is being constructed, customers who are interested in booking a grooming with Sydnee at our new Midland Avenue location, will be able to call 613-389-7500 (Gardiners store). We will start taking appointment request for February on January 16th 2023. Please don't call the store to book before this date. We need a bit more time to nail down our official opening date.

We also want to let everyone know that we will be increasing our grooming prices effective February 2023 at each of our salons... I'll pause here for the inevitable clapping :). We have only raised prices 2 or 3 times since 2011 and the cost of living and operating our business has grown tremendously. Our prices will remain very competitive.

Do to the large number of no shows we have also decided to add a $20 No Show fee to those people that don't show up for their bookings. This fee is not charged if you call in and cancel or reschedule your appointment ahead of time. We understand that life happens, but advance notice is appreciated. Your time slot has been set aside specifically for your pet. No shows cost our groomers lost revenue. Please be considerate of their time.

Our Gardiners Town Centre grooming location will be closing down permanently. We need the space at that location to expand our food and supplies offering. Watch for exciting renovation plans later in 2023!

CUSTOMER UPDATE February 8th 2021 – COVID19 Coming Out of Winter Lockdown

SHOPPING
We are happy to be able to welcome customers back into our stores effective Wednesday February 10th 2021. We will have restricted capacity limits at our stores and we will be operating our stores with socially distanced masked shopping and increased cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Returns are accepted. We accept Debit, Credit and Cash instore. Curbside pickup will still be available though our website (Choose Pickup and Pay at Your Local Store) and through email at [email protected] (remember to tell us which location)

Our temporary hours of operation for this week will be:
Tue February 9th 10am – 6pm (Still Curbside Only)
Wed February 10th 9am – 6pm (Now open w/instore shopping)
Thu February 11th 9am – 6pm
Fri February 12th 9am – 7pm
Sat February 13th 9am – 6pm
Sun February 14th 10am – 6pm
Mon February 15th Closed for Family Day

SELF SERVE DOG WASH
Our Self Serve Dog Wash will open at our Riverview Shopping Centre and Kingston Centre locations on Saturday February 13th by appointment only, the same way as we had been operating them during the fall. We will only be opening 1 tub at each location. Bookings are for 1 dog and 1 family member only and can’t be longer than 30 mins. Appointments will start on the hour. Late arrivals will need to have the time deducted from their 30 mins. Appointments can be booked online at the links immediately below…PLEASE READ ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the dog wash booking. We hope to return to both tubs and walk ins soon.

GROOMING
Grooming will resume on Saturday February 13th 2021
If you had a scheduled appointment that was cancelled, you will automatically receive a call this week for priority booking. You won’t need to call the stores unless you have not heard from us by Monday February 15th 2021. We won’t be booking any new grooming appointments until all the cancelled appointments are looked after.

Each store is going to handle Nail Trims Only differently. The best suggestion is to watch this page for nail trim specific information by store. There can’t be any walk ins for nail trims until we are given the all clear by public health. We will have specific times set aside at each location. More information is coming this week.

Due to the extended lock down we will be calling and cancelling all appointments between January 25th and February 9th. Rescheduling will take place when we know for certain the date the salon can open back up. If you had an appointment before January 25th that you have not received a call about please call us at 613-389-7500. No new appointments will be made till further notice.

We have finished rescheduling the appointments between now and January 23rd. If you had an appointment between those dates and have not received a message from us please call us at 613-389-7500.
We will not be booking new appointments as of now. Keep an eye on this page for when we start taking appointments again.
