Every single being has a beautiful purpose in this world, and wants to live their life free from harm. Imagine if we all just appreciated each other’s beauty!? If every life was precious, cherished and protected by all? No one was less deserving to live? No one was considered “a pest”, ugly, or expected to serve some human created purpose? What if we all were just filled with love and respect for each other? What a beautiful world it would be!!! Wanna give it a try? Let’s go!!!

Sweet little Salamander Sally is exactly the reason that we don’t rake up fallen leaves. So many little beings live, lay eggs and raise their babies underneath old leaves and nature debris. It’s all there for a reason and when us humans “clean up” nature we often have no idea of the harm that we are doing to insects, amphibians and cute little friends like Sally.

w into our window. They are one of the Gross Beak babies, who we have watched grow this spring. They are our favourite birds and this was especially heartbreaking. Although we have decals on all of our windows to avoid bird collisions, accidents still happen. When they do, we are flooded with feelings of sadness and guilt. Sometimes it feels impossible to do no harm to others. But it’s moments like these which remind us that we can always do better. We can always be kinder. Whether it’s saying no to plastic, deleting a mean comment, or leaving animals off of our plate, there is always another step we can take to a kinder world. Our lives are a journey with endless chances and possibilities to do better. Let’s be as kind as we can. Rest in peace beautiful baby. 💔
