After close to 14 years of serving the horse community in Ontario; I have retired and no longer transport horses.
I truly enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to visit 100,s of farms across the province.
I would like to thank all of my clients and all of the friends I have made over the years.

Hello to all of my transport clients.
It is starting to look like spring will arrive in the next few weeks hopefully!
Fuel costs have skyrocketed up and. The cost of transporting horses has also been affected by rising insurance rates. They are outstripping even fuel in increases. In the last3 years my insurance has risen by almost 5000$. There seems to be no recourse to this what used to be called price fixing.
Of course we are forced to raise our rates. If I move 300 horses each year 25$ of my rate goes directly to insurance. Now about .35 cents per klm goes to fuel.
If any of you have checked out trailer prices, they have doubled in last 10 yrs. a 2 horse Hawk runs around 38000$

Some of my fellow transporters have been pushed out of the business by these high costs . Therefor there are fewer of us servicing the same number of horses but with less resources available.
If you are going to need transport this summer to shows, I suggest you get your plans in place and book your transport as soon as you have fixed your schedule.

As most of you already know; a fair number of transporters have kicked the Can down the road. Leaving few of us to fill the void.
If you are planning on going to any upcoming shows, I strongly suggest you begin planning and booking your rides.
It is great to see growing numbers at the show sites but they are still a long ways from previous attendance. As we all get more comfortable being amongst are friends and might I say competitive foes we will be busier than ever.
Also keep in mind that fuel prices are about 25% higher than last year and insurance keeps screwing us shippers. Prices are slightly higher than last time you moved in and out of shows.

Well here we are in the dog days of Feb. weather sucks and roads are often bad. Through it all; your horse buddies still sometimes need to go for a trailer ride. I am still available for your trailering needs. I didn’t pull a Ted Cruz and desert my constituents.

Happy holidays all!
I want to thank all of my loyal clients for there continued support in these trying times.
The year has had its challenges; however I have had a very good year moving horses around the province. I’ve met new clients and old friends along the way.
I hope all of you stay safe and that your equine lives stay healthy and safe throughout the coming months.
Must admit that I had some unique experiences moving some of the horses this year.
Managed to get bitten once between the eyes, knocked down a couple times and had several very challenging loads.
As you all well know I always do my very best to get the job done. Always make safety my first priority and make every effort to make the experience simple and calm for all of the many types and personalities of horses I work with.
Thanks to all of you for a special year.

Great start to the year. Been quite wet. If you need shipping to a show, the vet or from barn to barn; I am available at reasonable rates. You can have the whole box or share with a friend.

Getting your young horse to load can be a challenge. try having there favorite snack, an apple or a bucket of feed to entice them on. Always try and train from an early age. Just get them to walk on a trailer and have some lunch or hay. That way when the time comes for that first real trip; the loading will be much less stressful for everyone. Most importantly for the horse. Good luck to everyone this summer.
