Huge congrats to team Mantario, who raced well at the IFSS Continental Championships Dryland Race in Wisconsin. Edie and Smoke got 2nd, representing Kenora! Muriel got 3rd, Asmara 5th in their classes, representing Manitoba.
I haven't heard the team's relay placings, but I believe 2nd / 3rd.

Congrats to Edie Fisher and Smoke, who travelled to Sundre AB to race in bikejor NATIONALS! They got 2nd in Masters, and 3rd overall. Fast times for our Kenora team!

If anyone would like to do an informal race on Saturday March 9, 11am. My neighbour has offered to let us use his trails.
The ‘race’ would be around Echo Lake . There is a packed and groomed trail that is 3.3 kms and 12 feet wide. It is suitable for Skijoring, sledding, running and biking.
It is very safe!
There are also many more trails on the property that can be accessed. Be aware that you will have to get to the start line on the lake on your selected mode of dog transportation. There are hills on the way to the lake. It takes me approximately 10 minutes to get to the lake, by sled.
The neighbour's address is 1679 Essex Rd, Kenora.
We would meet at the neighbour's house at 11.
