This summer, we welcomed a charming trio of Red S*x Link chickens to the farm—two hardworking hens and their proud rooster, Frankie.

Frankie is easy to spot with his creamy yellow feathers and upright, confident stance. He’s not just good-looking—he’s also smart and personable, responding to his name with a curious tilt of the uphead or a soft cluck when called. Whether he’s keeping watch over his hens or strutting across the yard, Frankie brings calm leadership to his little flock.

The two hens, with their rich red plumage and gentle temperaments, are steady layers and a delight to have around. They follow Frankie closely, scratching and foraging together, creating a peaceful rhythm to the day.

Together, they’ve settled in beautifully—adding not just eggs, but a little personality and charm to life on the farm.
