Meet Daisy & Peach

Daisy and Peach are beautiful 8-year-old sisters looking for a home where they can stay together forever.

These sweet girls have spent their entire lives side by side and share a bond that cannot be broken. They are looking for a family willing to welcome both of them and give them the loving home they deserve.

Daisy and Peach are incredibly affectionate and love being around people. They enjoy attention, companionship, and being part of the family. Whether they’re lounging nearby or seeking out pets and cuddles, these girls have plenty of love to give.

They would do best as the only pets in the home, where they can enjoy all of your attention while continuing to share the special relationship they’ve always known.

Daisy and Peach are also looking for a family committed to helping them continue their weight-loss journey. With proper nutrition, exercise, and lots of encouragement, they’ll be well on their way to living healthier and happier lives.

If you’re looking for a pair of loving companions who will fill your home with twice the purrs and twice the affection, Daisy and Peach may be the perfect match.

Meet Quarter Pounder 🐾

Quarter Pounder is an adorable 11-year-old gentleman looking for a quiet home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and peace.

While he may be shy when meeting new people, those who take the time to earn his trust quickly discover what a sweet and gentle companion he truly is. Once Quarter Pounder feels safe and settled, he enjoys affection and being close to his people.

Quarter Pounder is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only cat. He would thrive in a calm, predictable environment that allows him to settle in at his own pace and build confidence with his new family.

He is currently maintained on a special urinary diet and gabapentin to help keep him happy and comfortable. His ideal adopter will be committed to continuing the care that helps him feel his best.

Quarter Pounder may be a little reserved at first, but for the right person, he will be a loyal and loving companion.

🐾 Community Care Contribution: $150

Quarter Pounder is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his vaccinations.

Meet Linus 🐾

Linus is a handsome 6-year-old boy looking for a home that understands his needs and will allow him to live life on his terms.

Linus would thrive in a home with both a safe indoor space and access to the outdoors. He enjoys having the freedom to explore, watch the world go by, and satisfy his curious nature while still having a comfortable home base to return to.

He is currently on medication to help keep him calm and comfortable and has been doing very well with this support. Linus benefits from a predictable routine and a home that will continue to provide him with patience and understanding.

While Linus can coexist with another calm and respectful cat, he would be happiest as the only cat in the home where he can enjoy his own space and receive all the attention for himself.

Linus is looking for an adult-only home and would not be suited to a household with children. A quiet environment will allow him to feel secure and be the best version of himself.

Linus is searching for a family that will appreciate his unique personality and provide him with the stability and care he deserves.

🐾 Community Care Contribution: $200

Linus is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his vaccinations.

🐾 Murphy Is Still Looking for His Forever Home 🐾

Murphy has been patiently waiting for someone to see what an incredible dog he is.

At 12 years young, this handsome Australian Shepherd is ready to trade uncertainty for a loving forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, companionship, and care.

Murphy is looking for a home that is the right fit for his needs:
🐾 No small dogs
🐾 Dog-savvy teens only
🐾 A quiet, calm home with a predictable routine
🐾 A family that will give him the time, patience, and love he deserves

Murphy is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he can simply be with his people. He enjoys the simple things in life—a comfortable place to rest, a gentle walk, and a home where he feels safe and understood.

Senior dogs like Murphy are often overlooked, but we know there is someone out there who will see just how special he is. He doesn't need a perfect home—just the right one.

Please help us find Murphy the forever family he deserves by sharing his story. ❤️

Community Care Contribution: $150

📩 Message the Kelowna Veterinary Care Foundation to learn more about Murphy and whether he might be the perfect addition to your family.

🐾❤️ We Need Our Community ❤️🐾

We have a heartfelt favour to ask.

Over the past few weeks, our little foundation has been caring for more animals than ever before. Thanks to your incredible support, we've been able to say "yes" to animals who desperately needed help—but we're reaching the point where we can't do it alone.

Right now, we are urgently looking for **adult cat foster homes**.

Could you open your home to a cat in need for a few weeks or months? Fostering truly saves lives. It gives animals a safe place to heal, decompress, and prepare for their forever homes while allowing us to continue helping others who have nowhere else to go.

Please fill this form out if you are interested: https://forms.gle/3Rvr78Ab1fx1V9aEA

We're also in need of donations to help keep our foster program running:
🐱 Wet and dry cat food
🐱 Cat litter
🐱 Towels and blankets
🐱 Toys and enrichment items
🐱 Gift cards to pet stores
🐱 Monetary donations toward veterinary care

Donations can be dropped off at 1955 Kent Road (Kelowna Veterinary Hospital)

Every single donation—whether it's a bag of food, a spare blanket, or a financial contribution—helps us provide care, comfort, and a second chance.

If you've ever wondered how you could help animals in our community, this is one of those moments. Even if fostering isn't possible for you, sharing this post could help us find the right person.

💬 Tell us in the comments: Have you ever fostered an animal before? We'd love to hear your story!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside us. This community continually amazes us with its compassion, generosity, and love for animals.

Together, we're changing lives—one paw at a time. ❤️

🚨 NEW FUNDRAISER ALERT 🚨

Got an ex who still makes you cringe? An ex who ghosted you, cheated, borrowed your hoodie and never gave it back, or just left you with trust issues and an unhealthy attachment to sad playlists? 👀

For a minimum $50 Community Care Contribution, we’ll help community cats by giving one a very special name… your ex’s name. 🐱✂️

Here’s how it works:
💙 Make your contribution to KVC Foundation
🐾 We’ll name a community cat after your ex
✂️ That cat will be spayed or neutered in their honour
📸 We’ll send you a photo of the cat carrying on your ex’s legacy (in a much more productive way)

Your contribution helps provide essential spay and neuter care for community cats in our region, reducing overpopulation and improving feline welfare.

Because unlike your ex… this decision actually helps the community. 😉

To participate, email your contribution details to:
📧 [email protected]

Please note: Cats are named based on community cats receiving care through our program. Availability may vary.

💙 ADOPTION PENDING💙
🐾 Meet Picasso 🐾

Picasso is an estimated 1.5-year-old boy looking for a family to call his own.

Friendly and affectionate, Picasso enjoys the company of people and is ready to find a home where he can settle in and be loved. He has so much companionship to offer and would make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Picasso has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so he’s ready for his next adventure.

At this time, Picasso has not been tested with other cats or dogs. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly and carefully.

If you think Picasso might be the perfect fit for your home, we’d love to hear from you. ❤️

🐾 Community Care Contribution: $200 🐾

Help us find Picasso the loving forever home he deserves.
