Important Update Regarding Medical Record Requests

We would like to thank our clients for their understanding and support following our recent announcement.

Due to the very high volume of calls we are currently receiving, we kindly ask that requests regarding medical records be submitted by email rather than by telephone. We kindly ask for your patience as we work through the process of organizing and managing medical records. Please note that record requests will not be processed immediately. Kindly allow a few business days for processing.

Please be assured that we are currently working on arrangements to ensure that medical records will remain secure and accessible after the clinic closes. Once these arrangements have been finalized, additional information will be provided to our clients.

At this time, there is no need for clients to urgently request copies of their records.

As we continue to provide veterinary care to our patients, we respectfully ask that our telephone lines be kept available for appointments, prescription requests, urgent patient concerns, and emergencies.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this transition and make the necessary arrangements for the future management of medical records.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT After 36 years of serving the pets and families of Kapuskasing and the surrounding areas, we have decided that it is time to conclude this chapter of our professional career and close The Kapuskasing Veterinary Hospital on August 28, 2026.

This decision has been made with careful consideration, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and support our clients have shown us throughout the years. It has been a privilege to care for your pets and to be part of this wonderful community.

The clinic will continue to provide veterinary services until August 28, 2026. We encourage clients who require prescription refills, copies of medical records, or follow-up care to contact us well before the closure date.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your pets over the past 36 years. We sincerely appreciate your support and the many relationships we have built along the way.
