I'm SO sorry. I totally bailed on letting everyone know how Pepper made out at the vet the other day. My sincerest apologies.

Pepper underwent his dental trim under anesthesia on Tuesday morning.

He was a champ and made it through so well. He returned back to his foster home looking incredibly tired but began munching on hay almost immediately.

The next day he seemed like he was feeling the effects from the day before moreso but still he was doing ok.

It takes a few day to be feeling up to par and that's why he was given metacam for 3 days following and has critical care on hand if he needs a little help.

Thank you to those who donated towards Peppers procedure. We are still about $125 short so if you are looking to help that is where we could use it today.

There's still two days until our October Passport Challenge is over and we announce the winner of the $600+ grand prize to a participant who purchased the pass!

You're not too late! Just buying the pass is an entry in itself.

I feel like it's deja vu. Different piggy though.🐹

Now it's Peppers turn to undergo his teeth 🦷 trimming. I really hope this will not be as frequent as Marshall's has been.

Nevertheless, please keep Pepper in your thoughts and prayers today. 🙏

If you would like to help towards today's procedure you can look back at yesterday's post on all the ways you can help, or you can etransfer us directly at [email protected]

Any help is so appreciated.

Thank you for being here.

Good Monday Morning 🌧

Who's got the Monday blah blues? Just me?
Probably Pepper too though.
He's really not himself right now. He's anxiously awaiting his dental trim tomorrow so he can start to feel better.

We definitely are needing support for tomorrow and all areas of the rescue always so I wanted to update you on what we have going on and what's to come as well as other ways you can support by purchasing items we have for sale.

First off, there are technically 5 days left for our October Passport Challenge. Yes, I am including Friday in there as the event closes at 11:59pm. That's a whole day to purchase your ticket: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/october-shopping-passport-challenge
and then even shop a business or two before the day is through. Remember to submit a copy of your receipts before 11:59pm on Friday for extra entries into our draw of over $600 worth of items donated from the businesses supporting us this month.

Next month we will be hosting another fundraiser through Dielman. This is an online fundraiser where we will provide a QR code to their catalog and you can shop for items for the holidays or just because.

Also in November, we will be attending the St. Ann Christmas Bazaar as vendors for our third year!
This is always so much fun, and ends up being a great day!
Here is where you can find us that day!!!
Saturday, November 28, 2026
9am-2pm
500 Stonehaven Drive

December will mostly dedicated to our Christmas Auction running from the 1st to the 15th. We are still looking for new or good condition items to add to our list. If you have something that may work please send us a message.

Their may be some additional fundraisers thrown in to the mix of November and December but you will have to come back to check.

Currently we still have greeting cards for sale, flop beds, Planette products, suncatchers, handmade hanging decorations, as well as we are always taking orders for hats, shirts and toques with our logo on them.

I'm adding in some photos of items that accompany some items mentioned in this post but many things can be found in the albums on this page.

If you would like to host a fundraiser for us we are always very appreciative and completely on board with that initiative and generosity. ❤️

Thank you for being here.
We appreciate you and all of your support.

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have a wonderful Friday!

I just wanted to take a few moments to discuss the October passport challenge. Last night I began thinking about this fundraiser we're holding and I've been saying the whole time that when you buy your ticket you're automatically entered into the draw which has been and is still completely correct and that you don't have to shop at any of the 10 businesses supporting us this month.

Although this is true, it would be a complete failure on my part not to strongly encourage ticket buyers to visit these locations.

When the emails were sent to the owners of these places, the feedback was almost always an absolute yes and they already had a donation waiting for us to be picked up.

How generous can you get? No questions, no concerns, just yes to supporting our rescue and the little lives it holds.

These owners work endless hours trying to better their workplace and continue to grow in these challenging times. They are completely busy and to not hesitate one bit, but instead to reply with an astounding yes to help where they can is a unbelievably valid reason to visit these spots.

So to those who have purchased a ticket already, I thank you tremendously. To those who are still going to; you have 7 days(lots of time)! To those who are thinking about it or haven't heard about it until now, please consider joining this fundraiser.

It not only helps us, but it also helps these local spots who are obviously strong advocates for sweet animals.

We chose some of the best places to visit so we promise you won't be disappointed.

We want to make them proud and let them know they are appreciated. We hope to gain new connections and supporters constantly and we believe we just earned 10.

So whatever you're doing today, take a moment to spend that $20 here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/october-shopping-passport-challenge and this weekend why not go for a drive and visit some or all of these amazing businesses that have one thing in common with all of us; they love animals.

If I could figure out how many times I've rearranged the bunny room I would totally announce it.
I'm sure it's almost 100 times. Some day I'll look through all of my photos and see how many different set ups I can find.

My back is breaking.

Aside from that I thought maybe I would ask here in case someone has something we're looking for.

We had an incident after my last rearranging of the room and Chandler tried to electrocute himself. It's funny which bunnies will chew cords and which ones won't. Joey who was previously there didn't touch it; Chandler thought he needed more spark in his life. Before he actually was successful in getting some action, I put a cord cover on it and ZAP, I was the one who saw sparks!
Needless to say we're looking for a new light. One that hangs on the wall and plugs in. I have a cord cover so I'll be on that as fast as Lilith (our rabbit) hunts down Wilma (our cat) to express her love to him 🤭

I'm also looking for floor paint and a primer if possible? I know that's probably a tough one but that floor is so ugly.
During the last big clean I decided to take up the crappy peeling faux tiles that had accumulated so much dirt,, pellet and hay dust in the last 3 years. It was beyond gross. Now we're left with a cement floor that's not easy on the eyes.
I'm wishing to add more beauty in there then the darkness that currently exists.

If anyone should have any of these things and want to donate them I'm happy to receive.

Other than that, we are looking for items to use for our Christmas Auction beginning December 1st. 🎄
If you have anything in new or good condition, please let us know. 💬

Don't forget about our October Passport Challenge! There's only 9 days until the 31st of October when it ends at 11:59pm.
Just $20 gets you entered into the grand prize of $600+ of items donated from our participating businesses this month. Shopping and emailing us your receipt earns you an extra entry with every receipt you send!
Later today I will share all of the items included in the prize!!!

We hope you have a wonderful day today ❤️
Thank you for being here!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take this time to give you an update on our sweet boy Pepper.

Pepper went to the vet this morning with his Foster and as I predicted he is having a tooth issue however it is not as bad as Marshalls was.
He has some sharp bits on the left side of his teeth that were irritating his tongue, etc. He will go under sedation next week to have his teeth trimmed. His back molars were totally fine and just in case his kidneys were checked for stones but that was clear as well.
If you are in the position to help us out for next week's procedure we would be very blessed to have your support.
If not as always please share this post with as many as you can so that our needs are known far and wide.
There's also still plenty of time to sign up for our October Passport Challenge! $20 gets to you a ticket and you have until October 31st at 11:59 p.m. to shop if you wish at the 10 amazing businesses that are partnering with us. If you do shop and make a purchase please send us a copy of your receipt to our email so that you can have another entry into the grand prize of over $600 worth of items donated from the businesses supporting us this month.
