Quarteron’s Sire, Quaterback needs no introduction. He is currently in the top ten world ranking of Dressage sire. He was the Bundeschampion in 2006 as a three year with the highest score for the trot and canter. He was also the winner of his Thirty Day Test. Quaterback has successfully produced over 70 licensed stallions and over 140 States Premium Mares.

Quarteron’s Dam, Verb. Pr. St. Winelady was bred in Germany, she is by Sir Donnerhall I out of St.Pr./El Weinlady II. Sir Donnerhall I is also one of the top ten world dressage sires. He has produced countless Grand Prix horses, licensed stallions and many of his daughters have proven themselves in breeding and sport. Winelady’s Dam has produced 5 titled daughters, a licensed stallion, and an advanced Dressage horse.

Quarteron attended the 70 Day Stallion test in 2015. He was injured during the final days of the test and finished 7th overall on his training scores. It was an unfortunate circumstance beyond anyones control. He rehabbed and schooled to PSG on the West Coast. Q has the talent but he didn’t love dressage, so we moved him to a hunter barn where his true colors shone thru.
Hir first show out in 2019 he placed 2nd in a large rated Hunter Derby. We have had limited time in the showring with the past few crazy years.
Quarteron has produced a limited number of foals who are now in the showring. They have been successful in both the hunter and jumper rings. He first of all, produces horses with three quality gaits, fantastic temperaments, beauty and brains. His foals are FEI quality with amateur friendly brains.

To top this all off Quarteron is an orphan. We lost his dam the day she foaled. This makes him extra special! He is a fun, loveable horse.
2024 Breeding Fee on sale for $1000.00 CAD (plus collection and shipping) if paid in full by December 20,2023.

Quarteron is producing beautiful foals with the superb gaits. His pedigree boasts some of the best bloodlines in sport breeding, and he has a proven show records as well.

We made a quick trip to Southlands Riding Club yesterday to watch Quarteron and Ashley Papalia in the Open 3’3” Hunter classes and in the Meadow Lane Open Hunter Derby. Once again Southlands Riding Club put on a beautiful show with great support from their sponsors.
Quarteron was Champion of the 3’3” Division and he was 8th in the Open Derby with 31 entries. We are very proud of these accomplishments and we have to thank Ashley for her hard work and determination to get him to the hunter ring.
This team is exceeding our expectations and we all have big deams for them. Thanks to everyone involved with Quarteron‘s care, and to all of Ashley’s team for their support.

Here are Ashley Papalia and Quarteron winning his 3'3" class at Southlands Riding Club last week. He also won the 3'3" Open Hunter division. Southlands put on a lovely show during these challenging times and it was so nice to get Quarteron out to show this year. He is continuing to develop into a lovely competitive hunter and is producing beautiful foals with limited breeding. Thanks Ashley Papalia for the great work with Q and to Rhonda Thompson at Jumpstart Stables for the great care! Q is a happy boy and clearly loves his job!

Quarteron and Ashley went to the Southlands Riding Club's Summer Classic this past weekend and the pair did not disappoint!
They had some beautiful rounds and were the 3’3” Open Hunter Champion!
Quarteron is such a good boy and so well mannered he loves horse show life. In this crazy new world we live in, we are thankful that Southlands Riding Club was able to put together a high quality show with some fantastic prizes! Thanks to all!
