If you are looking for a safe, handy, all around gelding that will get you noticed, Jackson is your guy. Not only is he stout, correct and flashy, he also has the grit to get the job done. He is very cowy, a pulling machine, and brave going down the fence.
Jackson has extensive miles working in the feedlot, roping at brandings, doctoring and tying off in the pasture. Apart from his well rounded working resume, Jackson has also competed in various disciplines including Ranch Rodeos, Rein-Cowhorse, and has earnings in Team Sorting.
I have had Jackson since he was a yearling. I chose to train him using traditional methods honouring the california vaquero style. He has spent most of his riding career in a hackamore and has recently been graduated to the 2-rein.
Jackson is suitable for any level of rider, including kids. He is as quiet as they come and has always been my steady eddy. He is a gentleman to handle, self loads, easy to show and will meet you at the gate. He has a very kind personality and is perfectly content just being with you.
