Parkway Paw's Trainer Nancy Jean Bougie and her hunting dog Jeannie got the top award for hunting dogs. Canadian National Master title in PEI. This was a 5 day event with land, water and upland series. Jeannie did a great job, I am so proud of her. Training pays off and never stops. She is almost 8 years old and still loves the game.

Attention all clients and potential clients, Parkway Paws Trainer Nancy Jean Bougie will be heading out this summer to run her dog in Hunt Test and the Canadian Master National in Saskatchewan. I hope you will all have a great summer with your dogs and I will see you in September. Remember training never stops! All dogs love to work for you.

Your Pup is smarter than you think!
Critical Training Period: there are several studies that have shown that the most critical training period for dogs is from 6-16 weeks. That's when pups are like little sponges that soak up whatever you teach them and any concepts they learn during that time will pretty well stay with them for life. You will be missing the best window of opportunity if you wait until your pup is six months old to put it into an obedience class. Get started as soon as you bring that little puppy home, you will build the foundation for a wonderful well behaved and trained dog.

Jeannie had her first Hydrotherapy Session at Top Dog Canine Conditioning & Rehabilitation with Olivia. Very nice person and really cares for your dog. Can't wait for the next session. Great winter activity to get your dog in shape and help with an injury.
