Sorry we’ve been a little MIA lately. Summit is one tough girl, she’s on the mend from an immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (ITP) which we discovered on October 4th. Thankfully she responded well to medications and we will beginning the weaning process this week 🤞🏼

So with that, this is my little shoutout to having pet insurance. Trupanion has covered over $4000 for Summit’s care this month ❤️🐾

Summit’s first time on the paddle board!
She doesn’t love it but she settled pretty quickly and became relatively comfortable. I think she’ll come to enjoy it with some practice 🥰

Tomorrow is canadian_canicross_sports Muddy Paw Canicross race in Orangeville, Ontario. Summit and I will be running in the 3km Fun Run for our first dabble into a Canicross race together. Luckily I won’t have to pull a wagon so it might feel pretty easy!! 😂😂

Long before I was a mom to little humans, I was a dog mom…and I still am!
Not all photos are perfect, this one is far from it but it’s one of my favourites with my original two.

Took the dogs to Muskoka Ski Club for one last snow roll before we (hopefully) say adiós to winter for good!!

It was a great spot to test out Summit’s new Ridgeline Harness and its waterproof fabric!
