And their hearts swelled three times larger that day… 🥰
Four little puppies have no idea how their fate was changed thanks to a rescue from the dump and the generous caring hearts of many people who made donations to provide them with the vet care and enriched diet they so needed to survive.

What are these funds being used for? The little ones came in hungry and scared and quickly accepted help to fill their tummies even though this led to tummy upsets at first. The puppies needed vet testing for Parvo, special puppy food and milk replacement. They required extra vet care and many baths with special shampoo as they had lice that made them super itchy and were too young to receive the medication to control the parasite. The itching led to the puppies needing vet care and medication for skin infections. As soon as they are old enough, the puppies will be given vaccinations and the lice preventative treatment and eventually will be spayed/neutered. This rescue has been financially costly, as well as labour intensive and emotionally taxing on the employees for all the extra care that needed to be provided. Special thanks to our wonderful employees for the careful cleaning and attention they have been giving the little cuties. Vet bills, medications and special food costs, along with extra employee hours (even though supplemented with volunteer help) add up quickly.
Our hearts were overwhelmed with the support these orphans received. Donations totalling $5,123 poured in from many corners of the province, along with a few from Alberta. Whether your contribution was small or large, it is most appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! ❤️ 🐾
