REBA! Her pregnancy is visually confirmed!

I stopped in to assess her this morning and she is noticeably showing signs of pregnancy. I decided not to do an ultrasound this pregnancy. She will have an xray mid February to determine how many puppies we are to expect.

Reba’s litter is due towards the end of February. Small standard red poodles, approximately 25-35lbs.

Please see our website link in bio if you wish to submit a Puppy Application, we currently have 1-2 spots available on this litter. Go-home time will be approximately Easter weekend +/- in April.

What a beautiful afternoon spent listening to the joy of the season! The talents that people have are truly amazing. ♥️

I cannot believe how well Sutter is doing with his pet therapy role at Long Term Care. Such a kind, sweet, & gentle soul he has. We were paired to sit with one of his regular weekly friends, Sutter immediately was happy to see him and willingly engaged with him throughout. This man has a very gentle and calm demeanour. When Sutter couldn’t stay awake any longer he curled up on his friend’s feet, which surprised me!

The Red Boy was purchased back at the end of October, one of our 2023 pups, due to the owner not being able to keep him anymore bc of personal health reasons.

He is currently undergoing a 3 week board & train with and I have found him a wonderful forever home that he will be joining once his training is over in December.

He has been named JETT ♥️. He will be joining a very loving family who is dedicated to up keeping his new training. He is doing amazing! So cool and calm in the house, he is understanding the new structure and rules, just an absolute beauty of a boy with the same calm disposition and manners in the home as both his parents. Jett is a dream boy!

He will have children in his new home as well as…a new poodle brother!!!!! (Who is also a red boy like Jett!).
I’m so happy & thankful for Jett’s new journey and thank you to everyone involved along the way.

Sutter’s quiet nature brings love & smiles to his friends in long term care pet therapy visits.

His friend today stroked his leg like this for several minutes, her face lights up when he comes in to visit her. He often has a hard time staying awake like today, the petting was making him super drowsy.

One of the benefits of pet therapy in long term care is that animals can encourage conversation and language.

One of Sutter’s favourite friends always is happy to see him, often has many name suggestions for him as well. Today Sutter was called Slim, and some other suggestions were Charlie & Sam! Always good to see our friends.
