Happy Halloween 🎃 👻
If your dog dressed up, we'd love to see their costume 🙂

Congratulations Loki 🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏
Our newest Board & Train graduate!

This handsome dude made a ton of progress during our time together and he headed home a new and improved version of himself 😊

I couldn't pick one, so here are my four favorite photos from our field trip yesterday. Which picture do you like best?

Board & Train Loki is on the home stretch! Only one more week left with us before heading back to his family.

And just like that - my Australian friends have graduated their Board & Train Program and are heading home. I am sure going to miss my little buddies. Especially Peanut (black dog) I know teachers shouldn't have favorites but sometimes we just can't help it 😅 She is my favorite small dog of all time (no offense to the others) I should have just "lost" her LMAO 😉🤭 all jokes aside, we hope they have a safe journey over the ocean and look forward to updates 🙂

Loki joined the pack this afternoon!
This handsome guy is an 8 month old German Shepherd here for our Off Leash Board & Train program to work on:

➡️ come when called RELIABLY
➡️ stop jumping all over people
➡️ to be quiet and stop barking excessively when asked
➡️ walk on a loose leash
➡️ stop tackling his canine brother anytime he tries to run
➡️ obedience, manners and more!

Let's welcome aboard Loki & family, and be sure to follow along for updates from Loki 🙂

Previously a very reactive, rescue dog from a shelter in Texas, to now listening and enjoying life here in Pictou County. Congratulations Riggs & family on graduating from our Off Leash Private Training Program! 🥳

G'day mate! Meet our new friends, Wally & Peanut, who will be heading back home to Australia 🇦🇺 after completing their Board & Train program with us. Peanut & Wally's family discovered Dogs On Point while here visiting this summer, and we're very glad they did. Over the next six weeks, we'll be working on teaching them not to jump up on people, to stop barking excessively, come when called, crate training and more! Stay tuned for the adventures of Wally & Peanut 🙂

We're all set up at the campground for a couple days of fun and training on the beach with my oldest son, and Board & Train Sailor.

08/24/2026

Board & Train Sailor took his first field trip this evening. We went to Trenton Park at a quiet time of day since it was our first visit to town. Other than needing a couple reminders at the beginning to mind his manners, he was the perfect gentleman! Good boy Sailor 👏
