Had a good day at the Shadowlands Ranch jumper show, pony performed exceptionally well, securing reserve champion in the 2’3” division and champion in the 2’6” division.

Not great photos, mom surprised us by having him outside on Sunday morning so rushed him into stall and took picks quickly as mom was a little frazzled about having baby out with other mares in pen. I had checked mom the evening before and was not waxing yet so had no concern leaving her out as baby was not due until July 31st. Nice looking c**t with lots of chrome and a belly splash as well.

Meet baby 2 of 5, arrived early this morning. Pepper is a big boy out of Piper by Duke, looks like he will be a big boy like his sister Pickle.

Meet Skippy, the newest little addition to the Blaze of Glory family. Born at 1:45am this morning. Quite an active little boy, was running circles around mom within an hour. Mom gave us a cute little Paint boy this time.

Been busy here working on a deal and it finalized last night at 10pm when our new girl got here from Barrie, ON. Meet Godiva (Diva) our new to us 15yo Hanoverian broodmare. Will get better pictures once she’s settled in. And Captain Morgan has headed to Barrie to start his new life/career with his new people.

We welcome Tinkerbell to the Blaze of Glory family. Just like a few of my friends I couldn’t resist a cute face yesterday at the Westlock Auction. Will spend time getting this sweet girl to trust us as she is very scared today, and then see what direction we can train her in. Hoping to try a therapy horse and teach her to drive as well.

Had a wonderful day at the Cooking Lake Saddle Club show. Pickle took 2nd place in her halter class and Willow took 3rd for John in the same class, then Willow was a star under saddle, placed well enough in performance classes to take Reserve High Point and HighPiint in Gymkhana. John is going to have an amazing show horse when I’m done with her. Now for a fun day at the CLSC Obstacle Day tomorrow with Pickle, Mr T and John with Willow.
