The past couple weeks have been busy with feeding, winter checks, cleaning stalls and ploughing snow. Not much training, handling, or ground work going on. We couldn’t use our round pens right now if we had too…We’re under another snow fall warning. Still haven’t fully dug out from the last storm. It seriously won’t let up. I think we’re on the 5th storm warning in 2 weeks. If it’s not a full on blizzard out, it’s still snowing lightly, everyday…School buses have hardly ran in almost 2 weeks. Our county literally can’t keep the roads open. It’s crazy! Today we woke up to blowing, drifting snow, -25 with windchills near -34. We could see another foot of snow in the next 24 hours. If you live in our area please stay safe, stay warm. It’s probably been at least 5-6 years since we’ve had a winter like this.
