Purchased with the intent to keep and have started in the spring but checking if there’s any interest in her now due to some life changes!

Sound, sane and smart. has all her groundwork, has been worked over obstacles and has carried the pad and saddle not done up, she side passes to a mounting block and she’s pretty much ready to start in every other way for spring.

Only con is she can be a dingus to catch, would recommend a small pen or using grain for now, improves with consistency!

Has been penned in mixed herds/on her own, ponied, trailered a couple times, been in an indoor arena, exposed to tractors, dogs etc.

This horse will give her all to anything you point her at from working cows to skijoring but we have focused mostly on barrels. Youth/handy peewee safe, adjusts to her rider, will absolutely crush a run or babysit you depending on what you ask of her. 2D/3D in the youth at big/small races, 3D/4D in the open with me (but is faster with anyone else on board).

Ideally you have a handy peewee looking for an honest horse who puts the same pattern down every time or a pushy youth who’s going to send her.

Can answer any and all questions. I know her inside out. Have worked with her since 2018 and owned since 2019.

Loads, Ties for hours, Bathes, Stands for the farrier like a champ etc. Not quirky or a typical mare. She’s middle of a herd, holds her own but won’t go out of her way. Main flaw is she drools like a mastiff - has been vetted and this is just her.

UTD on vx/wormers/farrier - I keep her in shoes Spring-Fall when she’s running regularly.

Does require basic annual maintenance, ppe welcome at buyers expense. February 2025 x-rays available. Does best on 24/7 forage but doesn’t require too much extra feed wise.

Lease is first choice.

Will be willing to sell if it’s the exact fit. Lower 5 digits - above 10### below 20###. In absolutely no rush to sell (if at all) and it’ll be to the perfect home not first home.

2009 sorrel gelding
AQHA but Grade
*was papered but they were lost - no chance of papers sorry! (they were pretty heavy on the cowbred side (peptoboonsmal))

He has truly been there done that. 1D/2D local jackpot horse 2D/3D bigger jackpot horse with many wins under his belt in the open and youth, absolutely no funny business in the arena or alley. Runs consistently mid 18's to low 19's on a standard. Was used as a pony horse on the track for a few years, spent a year penning and qualified for Nationals, has extensive trail riding experience and has been to the backcountry. He is quirky but broke as they come - has packed kids around and is a handy youth horse but not for beginners. Swing on him ba****ck after 6 months off, take him for any job and he will likely excel. Hauler and farriers dream.
Requires quiet rider with quiet hands.

Some reasonable maintenance required - will discuss with interested parties.

Asking low 5's for a 5⭐️ home (this is a must)

Will be picky where he goes and preference to a sorting/penning/ranch home. Will be available early September.
