Ready to build better communication, confidence, and obedience with your dog? Our June group classes are now open for registration!

🐶 Puppy & Beginner Obedience
Both courses follow the same curriculum but are separated to help keep dogs of similar age and size together.

• Puppy Course: 10 weeks – 5 months
• Beginner Course: 5 months & older

These classes cover all the essentials:
✔ Sit
✔ Stay
✔ Come when called
✔ Loose leash walking
✔ Take it / Leave it / Drop it
✔ Down
…and more!

⭐ Intermediate Obedience
Take your dog’s skills to the next level by adding:
• Distance
• Duration
• Distraction

Plus new commands like:
✔ Heel
✔ Quickly / Slowly
✔ Wait
✔ On your bed
…and more!

• 6-week program
• 1-hour class each week

Another little post about Whiskey the brave 🤩

For those of you who don't know or remember, on week 2 together I had pulled out one of these stools for an exercise & Whiskey instantly ran away terrified and started growling at the stool, refusing to come anywhere near it. We pivoted away from our original plan & ended up working towards helping him overcome this particular fear instead. Fast forward to his graduation day & this is the result! 😍🥳👏🏻 Evelyn Sparrow

Whiskey ❤️🎓
In the first week of every single class I teach, I talk about how every dog learns at a different pace - what might be true for one dog will not be the same for another. This guy was a perfect example of that. He was also a perfect example of "slow & steady wins the race" 🙈

Our first class involved him actively staying as far away from me as possible while constantly pacing the training area with a side of him shaking with anxiety/fear. That was it. A whole hour spent getting him comfortable with me & the new environment. At that time, I had come to terms with the fact that he would be a dog I would never get to be hands on with & that it would just be me verbally explaining the steps to the owners instead of being able to show them physically what I was talking about.

Fast forward to last night: Whiskey trotted into class, ears up & tail wagging - headed straight towards me to say hello 😍🥳 He then continued to let ME do all of the exercises with him, was coming to demand scratches from me & even laid down multiple times without being asked while the humans were talking.

He is a completely different dog than the one who walked through my doors on that first night. He is gaining confidence & is even starting to investigate things he initially would run scared from without a second thought.

I know to some people, all of the things listed above may not seem like that big of a deal, but I promise you that to Whiskey, his humans & myself, they are HUGE. To say I am so proud would be the understatement of the year.
Progress comes in all shapes & sizes and this guy is just getting started with his!

Korra 💜🎓
Being the over achiever that she is, this sweet girl graduated from not only her intermediate obedience, but she ALSO graduated from another 6 week private obedience course 🤩
She has amazed me from day 1 of meeting her. She is eager to please, quick to learn & has one of the best personalities a pup can have. I am so very thankful to play such a huge role in her training journey!

Congratulations to Korra & her human on yet another success! 😍🥳

Despite always having his best puppy eyes on standby, I promise he is the happiest & sweetest pup out there and that he truly LOVES every minute of his puppy classes 🙊

Only managed to take video of them doing "place" - but they were rockstars, as per always!

Kevin's second week of his in home training 😍
We worked on leave it, down, come when called, stay & loose leash walking with leave it! The last two commands we did not get on video, but I assure you, he was a rockstar at those as well 🤩
