A tasty treat turned into an urgent care visit to Dr. Matea, after a puppy got a donut-shaped bone wedged around his jaw. Unfortunately, dogs getting a marrow bone stuck on their lower jaw is not as uncommon as we would hope. His own was aware of this and had, or at least thought, that all of these were removed from the house... but this fellow had one stashed away. With a little sedation on board,Dr. Matea jumped into action using the dental drill to cut the bone in half and safely remove it.
