To our amazing Burlington crew - thank you for the love and tail wags over the years! We’ve made the tough decision to stop servicing the Burlington area as of today.

For a long time, we had a full trio of pups out there, which made the long traffic-heavy drive (sometimes up to 3 hours round trip!) totally worth it. But with Stewie’s owner retiring and spending most of their time up north and Andie’s family moving away, we’re now down to just one dog in the area, and unfortunately, it’s no longer sustainable.

That said - some good news! Starting next week, I’ll be joining the team for our Thursday morning adventure hikes, which opens up a few new spots! I’ll be working through our waitlist over the weekend to fill them.

Thanks for understanding and being part of the Walk & Roll pack!

Rest easy, sweet boy Winston. His owners let me know that he sadly lost his battle with an aggressive cancer yesterday. Winston has been a part of our pack for years, joining us on hikes, becoming part of the family. He was a dear friend to my late dog Leroy and was loved by so many.

Winston always proudly earned the “dirtiest dog” title on every hike, and I truly think that brought him joy. We’re all just passing through, some for a shorter time than others, and it’s an honour to make a dog’s life just a little better while they’re here.

Sending all my love and strength to Winston’s amazing family during this incredibly hard time. Just like I said at every drop off: I love you, Winston. Wherever you are now, I hope there are endless mud puddles to pancake in my sweet buddy. 🌈

Muzzled dogs are good dogs too.

We rescued Stevie when she was just four months old from rural Alabama. She’s a mix of Great Pyrenees and Great Dane - two powerful guardian breeds with deep-rooted instincts to protect. Given her likely livestock guardian lineage, Stevie (along with her two surviving sisters) is naturally reactive to unfamiliar dogs outside her pack.

Introducing the right tools, like a muzzle, has allowed Stevie to live a full and enriched life. With proper training, including e-collar and muzzle work, she gets to run free, explore, and thrive.

📍 Location: Hamilton, Ontario
🦮 Position: Pack Leader (Dog Walker & Hiker)
⏰ Hours: Minimum 10 hours/week, with chances for more after training! (No weekends!)
💸 Starting Wage: $18.50/hr + $0.70/km driven 🚗

What You’ll Need:
✨ A passion for dogs and adventure!
📱 A working cell phone
🚗 A valid driver’s license and a vehicle to chauffeur our furry clients (don’t worry, seat covers provided 🐾)
💪 Independence and reliability, as you’ll be working solo and as part of our team.
