In the past little while since I joined Liv’s Pup Paradise, I’ve loved expanding my knowledge on pet care and training, including attaining my Pet First Aid and CPR certification. I’ve cared for and had many dogs growing up in my family, and it’s easy to say that this kind of work is very fulfilling for me! I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbours, including large dog breeds like Rhodesian Ridgebacks, all the way to small animal care for Guinea Pigs. I have five years of pet retail experience and am thrilled to be working in a hands-on environment with pups!
Whenever I’ve been asked by an employer; “What are some long term goals?” I always answer with pet care, with the big dream of owning or operating a dog daycare when I retire (hopefully sooner🤞).
Outside of pet care, I’m a bit of a shut-in who loves her private time. Majority of that time at home is broken up into reading (sci-fi, Halo, Star Wars. I’m a simple gal), video games and the occasional model building, with Gundam and similar franchises. My current favourite hobbies, discovered in 2018, has been tabletop roleplaying games, notably Dungeons and Dragons, and other popular story-telling games.
