Designing in the studio then a little stroll home along Locke with the leftover flowers

Creating some mostly native plant floral arrangements that include goldenrod, wild raspberry vine, pokeberry, black eyed susans, horseweed, wild cucumber vine, biennial gaura, virginia creeper. And then some Hamilton-grown hydrangeas and dahlias.

I’ve teamed up with my wine expert buddy Emma to bring you a fun and beautiful evening of local wines and flowers! We’ve been getting together and chatting about all the connections between what I experience as a flower grower and how it connects to the wine industry and the wines themselves! (No spoilers but Oak trees are a keystone native plant in North America - how cool is it to think about oaked vs unoaked Chardonnay in this context??). If you love gardening, flowers, and native plants, come geek out with us while sipping some hand selected wines! And everyone will leave with one of the little local flower arrangements that will be decorating the space 🤗

TOMORROW!! Guys this workshop is going to be so fun! First you cut your own flowers from the peaceful fields of Cedar Brook Flower Farm 💐, and then I teach you my go-to tips and tricks for floral design 🤗. PLUS it’s for charity! Cedar Brook donates all proceeds from their flower farm to Operation Angels to help animal sanctuaries ❤️

I hope you can come out for a lovely evening of refreshments, good company, and locally grown-with-love flowers!
