This weekend was Moriah’s birthday so we celebrated today! 🥳 She specifically requested an ice cream truck and we did our best to deliver❤🍦 Andrea brought some homemade chocolate sauce and brownies and even Frenkie-themed ice cream bowls! We have officially passed last year's count of Lyme Disease positives. 12 was the number for all of 2024 and we are at 13 and it is only in June! Ticks are active as long as it is above 0°C. ☀️
2 weeks ago we started a collection of the ticks we take off our patients - May's count was 9. If you're interested, you can bring in ticks to add to our collection. You can also send us an email of a clear image and we can identify them for you! 🔬
