On Monday morning I recieved some fairly devastating news. The brand new trailer I had just imported from the states less than 20 days ago, was on fire. The trailer was in the shop getting inspected and looked over by my mechanic, and overnight his shop went up in flames, with my trailer and 2 others inside. This is a huge set back, and financial hit for a small growing business like mine. This will take time to get sorted with investigators and insurance. In the meantime, I’m still operating with my 2 plus one, but this will hinder all the loads I had booked with 4-5 horses. For any clients that are booked with larger loads I will be in touch. I’m grateful no one was harmed, but I’m also in shock and at a loss for words. I like to consider myself as fairly resilient and am working on a solution to things while insurance sorts things through.
Looking forward to continuing to help our local, emergency and long haul clients in the mean time! The search for a new big rig for our show clients and bigger groups continues!
