A very Happy 5th Birthday to The Wild Life’s greeter… Milly!
As much as Milly was a pain in the butt as a pup who harassed my chickens, turkeys and Guinea pigs to no end, she has turned into one heck a dog, and an even better companion!

I have been watching this tree since December. I always get so excited when I see an eagle in it (and sometimes even multiple).As much as I want to post pictures and videos every time, I always fail to get good ones. So, as poor as the quality of the video is, I hope everyone can admire these magnificent birds as much as I do!

With some beautiful mild days we are reminded that spring and Easter are just around the corner!
The Wild Life will be hosting the annual Easter Egg-stravaganza again. On April 4th from 11am to 2pm we will have Easter Egg colouring, Easter games, pony rides, bouncy castle, and of course an egg hunt. The egg hunt will be at 1pm. Registration is required so the Easter Bunny knows how much to hide. $30 per participant.

Every other Saturday, starting April 11th we are starting a new program for young horse enthusiasts. Our Pony Patch kids program is geared for 4-9 year olds. Sign up for each session or reserve 1 day. $40 per day per kid. Limited to 4 spots and runs from 11:30 to 2pm each day. Activities will include grooming, learning about horses, and a craft along with a riding opportunity each time. Registration is required.

Whether it’s raining or sunny we will be running our Farm Fall Festival today! The animals love their treats, the ponies are ready for rides and the buggy is calling your name! The bouncy castle is set up, the candy apples are made and we are going to give thanks to Mother Nature whether she gives us the much needed rain or let’s the sun peak out for us to enjoy.
Today from 11am to 3pm, join us!
The cost is $35 per family (2 adults and kids under 16).

Saturday is looking like a perfect day to come out and enjoy some animal company, garden snacks and soak up the fall sun shine! Our Farm Fall Festival is running from 11am to 3pm. Only $35 per family (2 adults and kids under 16).

On October 4th and October 11th we will have our Fall Farm Festival. Of course the petting zoo will be open! … the ponies will be offering pony rides, hay wagon rides, bouncy castle fun, pumpkin games (like pumpkin carving and pumpkin rolling), selling fresh pressed apple cider (bring your own container), food, farm fresh veggies for sale while supplies last and so much more! This will be the last opening for the petting zoo until our Christmas Day. All of this fun for only $25 per family (2 adults and kids under 18)! Event will be open from 11am to 3pm at 2311 Eagle Lake Road.
