Due to the weather this past week and the forecasted weather tomorrow, we have decided to postpone out Easter Day until April 12th.
The Wild Life will be running Easter Activities and The Haliburton County Farmers Association will be hosting their Growers Get Together all at the same place... so why not bring the whole family and do both!

Easter is just around the corner and the Easter Bunny is hopping down the lane. Join us on Saturday, April 5th for another Easter Egg-stravaganza.
Meet our animals in the petting zoo, horse pulled cart rides, pony rides, bouncy castle, egg colouring, lots of snacks and of course an Easter Egg Hunt!
Festivities will run from 12noon until 3pm. No reservation required.
$15/child (under 2 is free).

Due to all the snow we have been getting we must cancel our Christmas day tomorrow. We are still working on grooming and ensuring everyone has dry bedding and shoveling all the gates and doors. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and wish everyone Happy Holidays!

Having trouble getting used to the snow? Come out and embrace the festive season at The Wild Life on December 14th at our Festive Farm Extravaganza!
We will have lots of seasonal treats and activities. Activities will include, but not be limited to: sleigh/wagon tours, cookie decorating, gnome building, bouncy castle and so much more!
Event will run from 11am to 3pm. $15 per person (participants under 2 are free)

We still have a few spots left for our mounted Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday (2 more sleeps!)!! Riders must be able to walk/trott and bring a backpack.

I had so much fun yesterday at our Easter Extravaganza, I decided to keep the Easter fun going next Saturday! On Saturday March 30th we will have a mounted Easter Egg Hunt!! We will only have 6 spots available. Participants must be able to ride at least walk, trott independently. Ride will be run from 1:30 to 4:30pm, including tack up time. Large prizes will be found through out the ride, so a backpack is recommended. $100 per rider.

Time is sure flying by... only 2 weeks until Easter. So, let's celebrate!! One of the young men that rides at the barn has taken on the coordination of our annual Egg-sellent Easter Extravaganza!! Join Charles and his recruited group of helpers on March 23rd from 11am to 2:30pm for a colorful Easter morning.
Charles has organized:
- hay wagon rides
- pony rides
- Easter egg coloring
- games
- Easter egg hunt
- petting zoo visits
And an Easter snacks!
Activities are geared for youth up to 12 years old.
$20/participant. Registration is recommended (so that the Easter Bunny knows how much chocolate to hide).

We are happy to announce a fun day of learning and animal fun! On March 15th from 10am to 2pm we will be playing games, touring through the petting zoo and pony riding around.
Spots are limited. $60 per participant, including tax.

The water straight out of the hose tastes so much better than the water out of the bucket... and a cold shower on a hot day isn't too bad either while you wait to get sheared. Oh Patricia, the alpaca, is one of a kind.

UPDATE: due to the rally to save the Minden Hospital we will be rescheduling the clinic! Support our community health on Saturday and join us on another day!!

Agri-forestry clinic presented by Peter Schleifenbaum on May 6th. Presentation will take place at 2311 Eagle Lake Road from 11am to 1pm.
Admission cost is $8. Light refreshments will be provided.
