We've brought in new lines from Boreal!

The functional limited ingredient line is excellent for pups with allergies. With absolutely no chicken in any of the 4 flavours, and grain free, this line also works well for sensitive stomachs.

The functional puppy line is great for small and large breeds, both of which need a little something special in their diet. Just available in chicken at the moment.

Finally, the healthy grains line is a nice alternative to any grain inclusive food. With healthy grains such as oats and barley, your dog gets the grains they need, but stays clear of the unhealthy filler ones like corn, wheat, and soy.

Time to switch it up for the last day of Shark Week. You've probably seen fish advertised at large pet stores that are called "sharks". These are typically Bala sharks, red-tailed sharks, or even iridescent sharks. The truth is, none of these are sharks! They're all types of carp, but are called sharks because of their body shape and large fins.

While they're gorgeous animals, and they have their own unique personalities, all of these fish live a rather long life, and get at least a foot long!

If your heart is set on a shark for your tank, while we don't stock them, we would be more than happy to assist in any information or equipment you may need.

Did you know: The fastest shark in the world is the short fin mako, who can swim up to 74km/hour!

We can't forget our small furry friends this Shark Week! This cozy hide is great for small animals (like the ferret on the package), or even for cats! With an opening on both ends, anyone would have fun with this snappy little guy!

Did you know: Bull sharks are so aggressive because they have overly high amounts of testosterone in their systems, which makes them rather grouchy. They're also the only shark who can live in fresh water, as their body easily adapts to different salinity levels!

Did you know: great white sharks are found worldwide, mostly in cool waters near the coast, where adults hunt fatty animals like seals and sea lions. This means Canada has great white visitors on our coasts, and if you're lucky, you may be able to cage dive with them!
