****Update: both the Church and our humble store are full up on clothes. No more clothes for the time being. Everything else in the list below and non-perishable food is still urgently required****
As I am sure many of you have seen over the past few days, there’s a conflict going on over seas in Ukraine. We’re trying to do our part by collecting donations for the Ukrainian Catholic Church of Saint Micheal in Montreal, who will send all items collected to Ukraine!
🇺🇦 We are looking to donate any over the counter medical supply (Anti-inflammatory medications, Tylenol/Advil, bandages, Anti-burn creams, Anti-biotic creams, disinfectant alcohol, syringes, Hemostatic powder)
🇺🇦 Baby/infant supplies (formula, new bottles, diapers of all sizes, lightly used or new baby bags, lightly used or new warm jackets any size, warm clothes any size)
🇺🇦 Flashlights, batteries, non-perishable food
🇺🇦 If you’re unable to donate any of these items and still wish to contribute we can take a cash donation which will be used to purchase above items!

Anything helps, we will be accepting donations until Sunday

With salons closed a lot of you are going to be doing some in home grooming with your do! The best upkeep tips are brush your dog as often as possible to prevent matting during the lock down. Brush all the little places like in between elbows and knees, the neck where the collar goes, feet, face and tummy! Mondou might be selling combs, which is also a good addition to a home grooming routine.
If your dogs nails are white and you need to trim them, you can cut just before you reach what looks like pink (the vein). Black nails are trickier as you can’t see the vein from the outside but if your dog will let you, go slowly, sliver by sliver, until you see a black dot in the middle of the nail (that’s the vein) it’s always a good idea to get some quick stop from mondou, it clots the blood of ever you trim to short. Worse case scenario you can use cornstarch to but it’s not as recommended.

🚨 a current update on my grooming situation 🚨
I don’t know when I’ll be back mobile grooming. I honestly miss all the little dogs I saw regularly, and under different circumstances I’d probably be back at it by now. However, Covid had really thrown my plans for a loop.
With that being said, I am now set up at a dog salon on the south shore (Greenfield Park) if anyone would like me to continue grooming their dogs (or even trimming their nails) I’d be more than happy to.
Send me a message if you want an appointment. I know it can be quite the trip from montreal/Laval to here, but I’m here if you need me ❤️

It’s been a great year! I’ve really enjoyed meeting, or frequently meeting 😉, each of your pets! I’m so very thankful to have been given the privilege of being part of the care and love you each provide to them year round!
I’ll be on maternity leave for a little while, as I adjust to the new things, or tiny people, coming into my own life but I will definitely be back!
